The ruckus in the Parliament lobby where a group of angry Umno Youth supporters confronted Karpal this afternoon was disgraceful.
DAP MP for Segambut Lim Lip Eng alleged that he was assaulted and hit a number of times on the face and his body.
This incident reveals a breach of parliamentary security. Why did DAP MPs have to come to Karpal’s rescue? What happened to the security personnel on duty?
That’s strange. Last time we heard, security in Parliament was so overwhelming that a group of young Jerit cyclists had a herculean task just trying to reach the front gate.
I don’t mean that Parliament should be swarming with security personnel, but those who are stationed there should make sure that no one is intimidated or in fear of his or her personal safety.
All this playing to the gallery has got to stop. We have enough drama as it is.
If the “Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia expressed regret” over the incident, which he said was a “First in Parliament”. The Speaker added that he would ask the Home Ministry to investigate the matter and “vowed that such incidents would not recur.” (What a JOKE !)
Does that not show his “Ignorance” or “Denial” on the …RACIST THUGGERY which we ALL have seen at the “APCET” conference, the Bar Council Seminar, at the Penang KOMTAR, the US Embassy by SIL, in Perak by SIL & Toyol, etc, etc, etc….
Does he not “Realise” that if it can happen in “His Parliament House” to a Senior UMNO/BN or PR MP, being “HARRASSED, INTIMIDATED & BARRED” by 30 UMNOputra “THUGS” in full view of PR MPs & the “Parliament Security Personnel”… My God !
….that is “ANARCHY” & definitely not “SUBTLE ANARCHY” anymore….AN INSULT & CONTEMPT of the nation’s Institutional “Pillar” by these “Thugs”!
Where is PM & PM wannabe & what is their “COMMENT & STATEMENT OF FIRM ACTION” against those 30 UMNO members…or were the 30 members “INSTRUCTED” behind the scene !

Nazri..is in charge of Parliment and securuty and he always boast about it…as all have seen and experienced in the past, nothing happens without his knowledge and permission, within parliment, even putting up barrier, blockades, all securities enrouting to parliment and out of parliment and within premise of parliment.
The Rakyat demands an answer.
Action should be taken against the intruders of parliment and also on those in charge of parliment. They should be ashame and taken accountable…!!!

No need all these comments lah…!
Just make a police report will do.
If PKR Youth were to do this they will be instantly thrown in jail.
So, Karpal, go make a police report & make sure they ARE thrown in jail.
We all know there’s “double standard” but don’t give up. Their end is near…..!!!!!!
Let me ask you all….
What has UMNO Youth done for the rakyat so far…??????????
What is their purpose in their institution..????
How is it that they are even allowed to enter Parliment in the first place…????
I also want to go too…!
They only appear when someone … about them.
“Empty vessels makes the most noise…..!!!”

Fighting a disable old man in this manner is totally uncalled for. Malu!… When Mahathir strip the Malay rulers of the privilege of immunity where is Umno Youth? Sorry lah! Not yet born! Karpal is a man of principle whether you like him or not, you respect him for his courage and stand. The Malay rulers no matter what at any given time will feel more comfortable with Karpal then with the stupid idiot Umno Youth.

Judging from what goes on around us the politicians of this country are giving a free lessons to the youth of today how to discard the “Nilai Murni” that we Malaysians always talked about..
Refering to the hu ha in parliment between UMNO youth and Karpal, I think the fault lies on both sides. Karpal should learn to be respectful when talking. Not to use cursery (is there such words? ) language. We are civilise people, we understand what you are trying to say. We also recognised you as a good politician, but your manners at times is something else.
UMNO youth on the other hand has borrowed the mat rempit culture and this is not the first time it has happened.
Shame on you Khairy, being a diplomat’s son I expect you to be more refined. It is not enough to put on the best suit but if you behave as you are behaving now we might think that you are from the gutter.
Nazri, you are in charge of parliment, let hear what you have to say. Or are you condoning to ” one rule for you and another rule for me ” or as the malay say kuman di seberang laut nampak, gajah ( atau pun bangkai gajah ) di depan mata tak nampak.
By the way, the police guarding the enterence, they are definitely not doing their job. Will someone who was at the scene that day put up a complain. At least to see what action their boss is taking against them since they are goverment servant and not fullfilling their duty.

If no action is taken by the authorities then we can safely assume that this is orchestrated by the powers that be. So far the remarks by the UMNO leaders have not prooven otherwise. So we are now in a samseng country, when will we become a Zimbabwe, we are almost there.
Shameful, these Umno goons have shown the true character of UMNO… Some physically, others through the various government instruments.
Nevertheless, Karpal Singh will not be intimidated… This is not a joke but something that is widely known in India that Singhs (Sikhs) do not bow down to threats and fear but embrace them as GOD is their saviour.
The Sikhs will only bow down to the Guru Granth Sahib (the Sikh holy book) and nothing else on this mortal earth. Good on you Karpal, we are with you

About 10 yers ago, there was an incident called the APCET II demonstration. It has been established that members of UMNO were participants in the violence and aggression that took place which terrorised the forum which included foreign representatives.
10 years hence, UMNO has not learnt.
They should also realise that East Timor’s struggle for independence (which was what the forum was discussing) has been achieved despite UMNO’s opposition to it. They were using the wrong means to make their stand.
What to do when some people just do not or care not to educate themselves on the issues ?

On Wednesday, the question time in the Biritsh Parliament was suspended in honour of Ivan Cameron, the Opposition leader David Cameron’s son who died as cerebral palsy victim. All party leaders from accross the divide gave speeches of condolences.
On Thursday, Malaysia’s Parliament hit new lows with the security and the Speaker not able to handle a mob of political agitators outside trying to intimidate a handicapped man.
Does this contrast indicate the difference between political maturity and infancy? Or does it show the difference between a civil society based on human compassion and raw political greed for power?
In Britain, the whole nation will stand up in outrage against harassment towards a wheel-chair bound person, whatever his political creed.

What really is happening to this “once upon a time proud country” is
those people up there are doing whatever they can to “keep” their authorities. They just cannot afford to let go due to so many lousy reasons that we all know. These guys are doing everything for their personal gains. Let our GODS provide them with the right rewards, the sooner the better. Trust me, just watch out. If all our GODS are good and kind, definitely they would not allow all these happenings for too long.

What a mockery of they system? If only it was a HINDRAF member presenting a flower to an MP, what would it have turned out into? Here, actions such as these with no action taken. Just a statement “Regret over the incident” from the Pendikar. Bias….bias…..and UMNO Never Learn….Never Change….So we, the Rakyat have to teach them and Change them.
