GEORGE TOWN, Sept 3 — A new private international school for boys and girls will soon be opening up on the historic premises of Convent Light Street (CLS) here, property owner The Infant Jesus (IJ) Sisters Malaysia announced today.
The IJ Sisters said they will be collaborating with local education provider, ACE Edventure for the new school within its grounds overlooking the sea.

Australian police have charged a property developer for allegedly paying A$4.75 million ($3.45 million) in bribes to Malaysian government officials.
The 68-year-old man is accused of selling a student hostel he developed in Melbourne to a Malaysian government-owned entity (MARA?) at an inflated price of A$22.6 million , with the bribes paid to arrange the sale.

Subang – no poorer voter staying? The poor need better facilities or better transport, How about subsidised food courts and reduced food price. Students can cari makan working part time instead employing migrants.
Should also provide libraries with free wifi for poor students from B40 families to study online, else more will climb trees for internet access. I suppose a reinstated library at Bayan Baru would not be considered a mega project.
YB Sim please set up a library in Bayan Baru or you will be ousted come mext GE. Have empathy towards the poor. Not everyone can habe wifi at home.
No good wifi can climb tree or use tall pole for your router. Malaysia Boleh after so many years Merdeka, wawasan 2020!
