I hear there is going to be another Mass for ISA detainees at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Pulau Tikus, Penang, tonight (Wednesday) at 8.00pm.

The first Mass last Wednesday, concelebrated by four priests, was attended by close to 150 people.

anil,

The organising of mass and vigil for ISA must go on and let the police (which is supposed to be an independent body) represent UMNO or BARISAN putting all the people in court or jail for this worthy cause.

Let the Barisan and Umno slowly and surely digging their own grave come this 13 GE.

KUDOS to the church and the people of Malaysia last but not least the poeple of KT.

I hope more people will be able to come for the mass next Wednesday night. Nothing like the power of prayer! And coming together as a community will surely send a signal to the authorities.

My dad was there tonight! (according to my mum whom I just ‘spoke’ with earlier today). I don’t know about most other people, but when I hear about my own parents being a part of these civil society ‘actions’ it makes me think that change is in the air. If their generation is being galvanized into playing their part, what hope there is for us younger people, eh. =)

chong

hope it is a success.

DON’T DENY ANY LONGER THOSE STILL DENIED

Though still detained their existance is not denied
But will be remembered through prayers none can deny
Thoughts will always be with them though their freedom is denied
Man(kind) is born to be free is a fact heaven and earth can’t really deny

Dear Anil,

have been meaning to drop you a line to say thank you for all that you’ve been doing for Penang, and in keeping us aware, informed and updated of key issues. Last Sunday, I must have updated my browser (on your site) no less than 50 times. Hope to chat with you over a coffee the next time I’m back in Penang.

Take care,
Imtiaz
