Malaysia will go down the drain if PAS is in government. The party does not have well educated and qualified politicians to run the country. Kelantan shows why the state cannot develop after decades running the state. Unqualified politicians only use religion and race to gain and stay in power. Political parties and politicians frequently prioritize political gamesmanship over governance, resulting in constant infighting.
When leadership disputes peak, parties often attempt to assert dominance by triggering premature polls.
This is precisely why the N9 state election has been called, completely disregarding the fact that the current mandate granted by the Rakyat is far from over.
Such actions place an unnecessary burden and inconvenience on the public.
It is critical to remember that funding an election costing hundreds of millions does not come from the personal wealth of these politicians or their parties.
It is funded entirely by taxpayers.Consequently, it is the Rakyat who are left to bear the brunt when tax rates are inevitably raised to cover these expenses.

Hard to know as the general election is still some months away. But the Penang government’s mega-projects and property development trajectory have been harmful to the ecosystems and surrounding neighbourhoods and there are some unhappy people around. So it wont be easy for it to keep its existing support base intact.

When BN says that economic growth in Negeri Sembilan could have been better and that Putrajaya will help when BN takes over the state government, the obvious question is:
Is BN not already part of Putrajaya?
If this is truly a Unity Government, shouldn’t both parties be working together, at both federal and state levels, to improve economic performance, attract investment and deliver better outcomes for the people?

Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan are partners in the Unity Government at the federal level. They were also partners in the Negeri Sembilan Unity Government.
However, UMNO decided not to support the Negeri Sembilan state government, resulting in the 2026 Negeri Sembilan state election.
DAP argued that there was a trust issue and that a state election was therefore necessary.
