The corruption and ravaging of the nation’s resources and wealth will continue. Those guilty of the major corruption, including the Bossku of 1MDB Corruption will be set free. Whereas If PH wins, PMX do not have to now to kow tow to Umno anymore and the strings that tied him down before will be cut of. He is free to make decisions, without consulting especially Umno of any decisions he wants to make. As it was common knowledge that Umno was pulling the strings of what was happening in this nation. Always threatening to split if their demands were not… Read more »

You need to clarify what is “bring about”.

In the first place most of the candidates of mosquito parties can never be elected. So these mosquito parties can only “talk about” reform and nothing more. Pro-people reform may not be consistent with NEP?

The true intention of NEP is to ensure most of the Malay will not be left behind or sidelined.

Most of the Malays essentially means majority of the people in Malaysia will not be left out or sidelined.

However, NEP when carried out by our Malay leaderships essentially means elite enrichment program and vast majority of Malays do not enjoy much of it.

Ones must praise BR1M, BSH or now SARA aids because the assistance really reaching all citizens of Malaysia.

Malaysia has exported 1.86 million people – and most of them are our top talent

https://youtube.com/shorts/Gl-H_cW4gVk

Until our local industries evolve to offer competitive careers that pay the rent, our best talent will keep heading overseas.

How can Malaysia stop the brain drain and keep our best talent?

Is Onn Hafiz really qualified to lead Johor? From some of the comments he has made so far since announcing the dissolution of the state assembly, he seems brash, uninformed and basically unintelligent. Johor is a key state and it needs a better leader than him, who still seeks Bossku return.

More than 41,000 Malay students are currently enrolled in Chinese vernacular schools (SJKC), showing a steady upward trend over the past five years, says Fadhlina Sidek.

The Education Minister said this reflects a steady increase from 34,870 students (6.84%) in 2022, 35,129 (6.99%) in 2023, 39,373 (8.03%) in 2024 and 40,035 (8.59%) last year.

What I experienced so far under Anwar’s PH and allies administration, that is they have weak effort to defend non rights eg kuil, shop lot ban on non religion, pig farms.

All other things are secondary. No more vote for PKR. And PH too if they still clinging to fake reformist PKR.

Sultan Sharafuddin of Selangor has decreed a complete end to all pig farming in the state, citing environmental degradation, pollution of river water sources, and the preservation of social harmony. His Royal Highness directed the state to phase out existing farms and instead grant more licenses to import pork from other states or countries.

A large portion of rural and working-class Malays remain in the lower-income bracket (B40). When a working-class Malay struggles with inflation, stagnant wages, and the high cost of living, the macroeconomic statistic that “Malay corporate equity has risen” does not change their daily reality.
Wealth redistribution under the NEP has often been critiqued as disproportionately benefiting well-connected political and business elites, not the B40 folks.

He told the Dewan Rakyat that nearly every state except Selangor and Penang, receives federal allocations that exceed the tax revenue it contributes.

This has nothing to do with whether a state is big or small. What matters is the amount of federal revenue generated from economic activities within each state. The combined contribution from the four northern states (SG4) has been significantly less than the total federal development allocations they receive. In other words, these states receive substantially more in federal development spending than the revenue generated from their economies. Instead, they should acknowledge that the Prime Minister has allocated substantial development funds to all states, including those whose economies generate comparatively less federal revenue. Where do the SG4 states think their additional federal funding comes from? It is financed through federal revenue, much of which is generated by economically stronger states such as Selangor, Penang, and likely Johor. Without the strong economic performance of these states, the federal government would have far fewer resources to redistribute through development allocations to the other states. It must be understood that true fairness considers both contribution and allocation, not allocation alone. ”… Read more »

https://www.nst.com.my/news/regional/2026/07/1481306/bn-dissolved-johor-assembly-just-regain-its-former-dominance-says

========

Without the cooperation, guidance and support of the Federal Government, many of the state’s major plans cannot move forward as intended.

That is why many of us, the Rakyat, do not understand why the Johor state government chose to call a state election two years before the mandate given by the Rakyat was due to end.

Will this become a common occurrence in Johor?

State elections cost hundreds of millions of ringgit in public funds, with some estimates exceeding RM400 million.

Rakyat 8
8 Jul 2026 11.55am

With Negeri Sembilan potentially next, and possibly Melaka after that, how much of the Rakyat’s tax money will ultimately be spent on early elections?

These are not the kinds of decisions that many of us, the Rakyat, expect from leaders entrusted to govern our state and our nation.

At a time when the global geopolitical environment remains uncertain, Malaysia needs unity more than ever.

As a nation of 13 states, we should be working together and move forward as one to safeguard our country and promote the well-being of all Malaysians.

========

If there is any political element in this matter, then it should stop. Higher education should never become a political battleground.

The priority should always be the students and the future of the country.

For more than six decades, many non-Malay students have faced limited opportunities to enter certain public higher education institutions.

Whether one agrees with the reasons or not, this has led organizations and other institutions to help fill that gap by providing alternative pathways for higher education.

Rakyat 8
6 Jul 2026 10.15pm

Instead of making it more difficult for these institutions, the government should support any genuine effort that helps Malaysians further their education, regardless of who established or manages the institution.

Education benefits the nation, not just one political party.

The government should provide whatever assistance is necessary to non-government higher education institutions that are genuinely helping Malaysians pursue their studies, and let the Rakyat know what support has been given.

Actions that strengthen educational opportunities will always earn public respect. In the end, the students should come first, not politics.
