Nenggiri by-election outcome

A couple of weeks before this by-election, Tasik Gelugor Pas information chief Abdul Rahman Kasim did not sound confident at all.

Rahman, who is on the ground in Nenggiri in Kelantan, rated Perikatan Nasional’s chances in the by-election as 50:50 at best. He said Umno had a strong presence in the area, going by the number of operations stalls it had.

It looks like Umno-Barisan Nasional is cruising to a win tonight on the back of a much higher turnout. We shall see.

Ahead of this by-election, we had the optics of the RMAF plane bringing in Palestinians for medical treatment and the announcement of a civil servants’ pay hike (the latter similar to a previous announcement ahead of the KKB by-election).

At last people in Kelantan begin to realise it is important to improve their present life and not just look at the moon for afterlife. ATM wins the day

Do not neglect your present life. If your government cannot improve your current life, vote them out!

Siti Kasim has hit back at critics who denounced her view that Prime Minister Anwar is better off being the Palestinian PM on grounds that charity starts at home.

“Why doesn’t he start with the refugees that we have right here in Malaysia first? Why doesn’t he start with the many Malaysians who have to wait for months for medical treatment?” she lambasted on her X account.

Siti Kasim has a point, but her abrasive and confrontational approach will only get backlash. Most Malays cannot identify with her liberal approach. She need to do some self reflection.

Siti Kasim insisted that JAKIM has no authority to interfere with the rights of Muslim patrons to frequent/dine in non-Muslim-owned F&B premises.

“Forcing businesses which profess not serving alcohol and pork to obtain halal certifications is not necessary at all for it’s entirely up to Muslims to decide if they wish to consume food at such premises.”

Does the DAP led state government understand or know this or not? What about its MPs and State Assembly people. After State Assembly meeting can have and enjoy expensive durian fest.

They have increased the minimum water rate from RM3.00 to RM6.20 per month. Bi-monthly it comes to RM12.40. They say price increase due to water wastage by our Rakyat.

So, if use less than 10m per month still must pay RM6.20. Why must have minimum rate? Every month need or not use minimum 10m.

So, if they come and say, ” Please need to conserve water “, why should we bother to listen to this money minded state ?

There is still seasonal rainfall all year round followed by floods and drought. Nothing has changed. For 2 terms the previous CM has been able to manage our water issue without a problem or water rate increase.

Penang Time Square Abandoned?
https://youtube.com/watch?si=4QFb8FNy6m-qNqzF&v=9Fy6QgfFnuI&feature=youtu.be

The mall at Times Square is now void of activity as most of the outlets had ceased operations. It existed during a time when there were plenty of get-rich-quick schemes in Penang that promised high returns – JJPTR, Richway Global Venture, Mama Captain, and Change Your Life – but MBI topped them all.

Dementia and MCI are usually caused by factors that start much earlier, like persistently eating unhealthy food or living an inactive and sedentary lifestyle, not exercising or doing things that challenge the mind. The stripped down logic is that the more we live a healthy life, the more we work and keep our brains challenged, the more you improve resilience. This could be as simple as walking or exercising daily,… Read more »

Most of the younger generations watch little TV. Whatever is pumped to them through the social media giants and local reps. (incluencers), they (a) value and try to buy, or (b) believe completely. E.g., for any physical activity, the priority is to (a) get the right clothes, shoes, etc. (b) be seen or broadcast one’s participation.

Please go and ask SAR, what kind of GPR they are using and how deep can the GPR frequency penetrate. You will have your answer.

Yap, asked you to ask SAR, because you seem to have difficulty in differentiating between Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR), Air Surveillance Radar (ASR) and Coastal Surveillance Radar (CSR).

If you do not know what ASR is, ask our national air carrier, MAS. If want to know about CSR, just ask our Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).

And if you think all this is difficult to do, simply use Google…

Bolehland is famous again for yet another wrong reason. Tourist disappears into urban sinkhole. One guy claims she had been here for 6 months, not 2.

Compare the genocide in Palestine. Official deaths 40,000. Lancet estimate 180,000. The balance of 140,000 bodies disappeared. They may be inside the buildings crushed by bombing.
