Large 505 rally in Kedah: ‘Chinese tsunami’? (Videos)

The gathering of tens of thousands in Kedah last night may have demolished the argument that the large turnouts in post-election rallies were mainly due to the presence of many Chinese Malaysians.

Malaysian Insider put the turnout last night at 50000, Malaysiakini said it was 30000 while the news portal reported that organisers put the figure at 80000.

The rally was held in front of the Pas headquarters in Kota Sarang Semut after the new Kedah government denied the organisers the use of a stadium.

Malaysiakini also reported: “Last night also saw rallies to support Adam Adli being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malacca and Batu Pahat (Johor). The one in front of the Jinjang police station attracted some 1000 supporters.

I have said this many times before that the real reason behind the Chinese bashing is just like every thing else, using the Chinese as the punching bag of Umno and most of all blame the Chinese for any problem Umno has come with. This is just a good example of what the rapscallions in Umno are good at, yet they have the audacity to ask what the Chinese want.
