I am generally against nepotism.
But when an off-spring has much potential, and had been groomed by someone like Karpal, I think it would be unwise to deny him the chance to stand just because some may claim “nepotism”. By all means vote him out come GE14 if he does not perform as expected, but I would support giving Ram the opportunity to shine.
I would have supported Yang’s statement if it was about how Najib managed to climb on the rocket-speed escalator bypassing others on the ladder. And proved to be the embodiment of the evils of nepotism!
