Welcome Anwar as PM.

Also looking forward to the return of Penang iconic ferries for passengers between Prai and Island.

A Rakyat 888

Ya, me too. Now with MCA not in the picture, wonder what is going to happen to those ferries ordered, currently undergoing construction in Vietnam.

shriek

viet boleh and Malaysia Tak boleh? What happen? Viet have been fighting US and all its allies and war ended in 1975. From 1957 to 75, UMNO had been talking about development and Malaysia Plan. Why Viet can build ferries but we tak boleh when we are supposed to be BOLEH

A Rakyat 888

That was then. Now that PH and BN are working together, who knows what they can achieve. The world is their Oyster. Wait for it. Can’t tell you how long though. Just don’t know where is shrunken DAP in all these. Hallo shriek, do you know?

All ah know now is that DAP only interest is to serve. No interest in position. Ask you SG. When will Penang BN come a calling at Komtar CM’s door. Johor state has taken the first step. Waiting for Penang State to follow.

Wee can use Vietnam ordered boats as recreational cruises for MCA activities.

Anwar Ibrahim’s Road to PM, 24 years in the making since his sacking, finally fulfilled.

Anil Noel Netto, 24 years since his hit piece.

Without fear or favour, against the ironfist of Mahathir, during one of the darkest days of democracy.

A tribute to Anil, may he continue to be blessed through the grace of God with good health and spirits. Justice shall forever flow like a mighty river !

I think Anil deserves some recognition by the present DSAI administration for your perseverance all these years in reporting justice (Keadilan).

PAS makes up a quarter of the MPs in the new Parliament and will be able to push through its theocratisation agenda much more, even when in the opposition.

If PAS were to propose something along the lines of making the country more religiously aligned, it would be difficult for Muslim MPs on the other side of the political divide to resist.

Siti Kasim talked well but wrong action – should have contested in Kelantan or Trengganu in a PAS hot seat. Lost her deposit for a lesson well learnt.

Why not PKR orso contest in Kelantan and Trennganu? No surprise. To stand for election, needs $$$ for workers. Posters, flags, calling cards FOC. Volunteer workers need to makan and mimum. Will there be less waste of public wealth? Even some of the EC signboards and banners were lavish. A GLC took out ads to congrajulate the new PM. 3-5 people in government and GLCs do the work of 1 person, and they get frequent pay rises. Will there be less ministries, departments and committees? Will ministers stop going abroad at every excuse with families and cronies? Will there be less megaprojects for cronies, and less substandard construction? Will there be less hindrance of business and industry? The labour shortage, sudden decrlaration of public holidays and unfair competition from GLCs continues.… Read more »

Throughout the whole PRU campaign I have watched various videos, interviews about political parties and its vision, some audiences citing their inspirations from the past. One interview in malay about the events leading to Anwar’s rise and fall during 1998 crisis and Mahathir’s iron fist rule hit me in a familiar tone when they mention that one of the most reliable and best english anti-government pieces during that time was by Anil Netto of Aliran.

TikTok is “a different world” than Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as it caters to young people who prefer short videos.

Anwar and his Malay supporters can start by ramping up efforts to provide counter-narratives, particularly via short TikTok videos. They should recruit more everyday, regular Malays to do these videos so that they’ll look natural and organic.

What, eggs shortage ? How come you ex Opposition clueless supporters are so quiet now. Why no criticizing current government? Even the vocal NGOs and Activists are so quiet.

Maybe, its because the current government is still new, need to feel their way around governing first. Okay, we Rakyat will wait and see how food shortage, food security, food sustainability and the lowering of food prices are going to be resolved.

Talk about it because many cases are POLITICALLY MOTIVATED. Anwar himself experienced it. Why not you skeptical if oppostion politician is charged?

Every time politicians get caught with their hands in the cookie jar, they run and hide behind their favorite excuse, ” POLITICALLY MOTIVATED “. Thanks for highlighting this, shrewd shriek.

Why not you skeptical about your PM is twice convicted person or accused of have same sex become TOP GUN in Malaysia?

But the people you should actually ask is your DAP and Amanah fellows and their clueless supporters as to why they are in the same bed with the top gun and are so very very supportive.

There are also quite a few NGOs, Activists and Civil societies who are supportive too. You should ask them also, shrewd shriek.

But we Rakyat will always be skeptical unless proven otherwise.

A Rakyat 888

Sorry shriek, ah came in here sometime in August ’21, ah think, and you stepped in here in 2018. So, ah couldn’t have said what you saying ah said about BN 5 years ago. This is misinformation. Not the first time from you though. Hee, Hee.

As for BN losing, have they really? Now both PH and BN are sleeping together, are they not. So, how has BN lost GE15? Have your DAP begun eating their own words, the so many nonsense they have been talking about BN. Did PH really win GE15?

shriek

Who has the most seats and least seats? After by election in Melaka and Johor, BN thinks they wll win BIG? Result, they get the least and so they lost. PKR pity you. You have been crying for BN and they cincai tolong you. Get it? Understand?

A Rakyat 888

You got me LOL, shriek. Misinformation, again ? As for BN’s lost, it is a big question mark. And also their ‘actual’ leader was incarcerated before GE15. There was no one to rebut the Opposition.

All was quiet in the BN front. And the difference in the win was only 5 seats between the two. PAS got the highest.

As it turned out, the fact is, without BN, there is NO PKR. As for DAP, it is now relegated to the far back end of the hall. This is unlike the 2018, GE14 win.

Court clusters are not just being rumored or simply being accused by people who may not like them as being tainted, as even these is not good. People in power must, in all times, be seen clean, both in one’s actions and in one’s words. Court clusters are people who have been charged on alleged crimes, are walking in and out court, trying to prove innocence, that the alleged crime is not true.

So, how can these people be in the corridors of power?
