… the (royalty) has already responded with a comment that the water issue must be resolved for the people. And with that comment did Selangor received a formal approval from the Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry to buy all the four water concession companies in the state.

Rakyat should know that the BN’s privatisation drive is meant to enrich its cronies, thus Syabas is losing millions of ringgit!

RIGHTS doesn’t fall from the sky. one must earn it.
In human history, incumbent only negotiate when people show the power, through march, protest etc.

Plain “Air-con room diplomatic work” NEVER work, not until there is action pressure the incumbent.

I am not surprise people like Gantangian endorse it the idea and call live action as “rubbish”. Gantangian might be one of those incumbent related.

If we continue to vote in UMNO and Najib together with their weaklings then we will continue to suffer even more. By privatising more and more public utilities will meant an increase in prices such as the water tariff and more and more monies will go into their cronies pocket. Rozali who is a former UMNO branch treasurer is getting RM425,000 salary per month. This is what will happen and will continue if the water rights does not return back to the people of Selangor. The recent increase in the price of essential good has already make the people suffer… Read more »

Yang, NO I don’t want the absolutely corrupted and excesses of the UMNO/BN regime to rule this country for even 1 more day if I can.

And I’ll vote for a piece of log if I have to, to get rid of the UMNO/BN regime tomorrow. This country certainly cannot afford the luxury of their plunder and bigotry any longer. The UMNO/BN regime will be the death of this country.

Last time I checked BN lost extraordinarily in the elections after those protests. So I wouldn’t say they didn’t serve any purpose. And of course now Najib is going all out to change the perception of Malaysian of Indian ethnicity that semuanya ok.

Yes, we need one more big PUSH come GE-13 and let’s all bury UMNO/BN! See what hypocrites they are – there at Wisma MCA in Jalan Ampang KL they were singing rhetorics of #1Malaysia# but down the road at the Istana and Mesjid Negara KL they sent the whole police force out to fire tear-gas and chemical laced water cannons at the Rakyat on peaceful demonstration to deliver a Memorandum to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at the Istana. See how arrogant they are?!! It’s obvious BN has not learnt a single lesson since March 2008 political tsunami. They don’t believe… Read more »

It is another despicable act by the police and the UMNO led goverment led by that Najib. Police are ready to act against a peaceful rally by PR members but will not act against a rowdy and thuggy demonstration by the UMNO BN … of Najis. With their racism, corruptiblity, incompetency and the hijacking of democracy and the peoples rights and worse still their voice of ketuanan indicates that UMNO is supremacy to all their impotent and weakling partners of MIC, MCA, Gerakan, PPP etc etc. With their incompetency, they are making the people suffer once again at the expense… Read more »

“in the gulf regions, the king or emirs will listen to its ppl…here what we get is water cannon..damm!”

– It makes one wonder, has any of our Yang diPertuan Agong and Sultans ever for once come out to meet the People/Rakyat when they submit memorandums and/or Citizens protest letters? …

PR delivered half the number of what they promised but UMNO/Perkasa delivered only 15% of what they threatened. Kind of put it in the proper perspective..
