Sarawak Report editor barred from entering Sarawak (Video)


Clare Rewcastle Brown had arrived at Kuching Aiport to defend herself against defamation charges – but the irony is, she was unable to get past immigration.

So what’s going on? They want to sue her in Sarawak but they don’t allow her to enter the state? Are they afraid she will rake up more dirt?

Why feel sorry for Sarawakians when they are happy with Taib Mahmud?

Actually I see this as a blessing in disguise. Under the Rules of the Court 2012, the lawyers will be able to ask the Court to make an Order 39 Rule 2 application (a) in Form 70 to issue a letter of request to the Judicial authorities of the country (UK) in which that person is to take, or cause to be taken, the evidence of that person; or (b) if the government of that country (UK) allows a person in that country (UK) to be examined before a person appointed by the Court, for an order in Form 71… Read more »
