New government should hold transparent independent probe into MH370 mystery

One more item that should be on the to-do list of the new government: finding out what really happened to MH370.

While other countries are still talking about the missing plane (see video above), it does seem odd that it doesn’t ‘even register on the ‘radar’ of our discussion, so to speak.

We haven’t had any transparent probe into the missing plane. At the very least, we should establish for sure why our radar systems didn’t alert the air force in time so it could scramble its jets to find out what was happening to the ill-fated plane when it turned back and flew over the peninsula, heading west.

What was the reason for the delay? And why the delay in searching in the Indian Ocean? Did the BN leaders tell us all they knew about the crisis?

We owe it to the victims, to find out what cost them their lives, just as much as want to find out what happened to Altantuya, Kevin Morais, Raymond Koh, Amri, etc.

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today announced the dissolution of five government bodies and committees – the National Council of Professors (NPC), the Federal Village Development and Safety Committees (JKKKP), the Prime Minister’s Department and Performance and Delivery Unit (Pemandu), the Special Affairs Department (Jasa) and Land Public Transport Commission (Spad).

Similarly sports bodies MSN and ISN should merge as one to prevent politicking and to save cost.

USM Prof Sivamurugan Pandian is a prominrnt member of National Council of Professors now being dissolved. Siva commented a lot as guest speakers on TV3 and Astro Awani very often preGE14 results. He had not been seen on TV ever since.
Anil should interview him to get the real Siva to speak his conscience truth.

Contd /- The fact that MH370 went missing at the point when it was transitioning between Malaysian and Vietnamese air traffic control, the course which MH370 flew over the Thai-Malaysian border between the jurisdiction of Thai and Malaysian military radar, the fact that it headed out to the southern part of the Indian Ocean is which amongst its deepest parts and the discovery of a similar simulated flight path on Capt. Zahari’s simulator are point to the plane being under control of either him on board or another experienced flight professional either on board or remotely who knew all these… Read more »

Yes, the present Malaysian government should continue with this search at a later date, it should get China to help foot the bill, since the majority of passengers on MH370 were China citizens but the outcome of who was responsible if the plane is found may not please some Pakatan parties. I do not see a deliberate cover up by the former Barisan Nasional government. The previous Malaysian government may have been rather inept (not surprising) in how they handled the MH370 loss and the subsequent investigations, but this 60 Minutes Australia’s video “MH370 – The Situation Room” as well… Read more »

Dear PM Dr Mahathir, this is one of my many Harapan(s) for a better Malaysia Baru:
Pls investigate the kidnapping + disappearance of Pastor Koh by a group of military-style kidnappers. We want to know whether he is still alive. For the sake of his family, pls consider.

It is unbecoming for DSAI and family to use the government private jet.

Those 1Malaysia private jets shoukd be sold to pay the nation’s debt. All VIPs can take MAS, Air Asia, Malindo flights from now on. Rakyat Malaysia are watching you!

Mahathir provided a summary of the several theories regarding MH370 going missing and Mahathir asks why not the South China Sea if it was pilot suicide. Well I say the southern Indian Ocean so that it would be almost impossible to find and to leave a lasting problem and embarassment for the Malaysian government, as (alleged) revenge for the Appeals Court convicting and jailing Anwar for sodomy, less than 24 hours before MH370 went off course. Whether this was done by a pilot on board or remotely is left to be seen, if the plane and the black boxes are… Read more »

Contd /- The claim that top Freescale engineers were on board MH370 carrying a piece of equipment used for missile guidance and developed at the R&D labs at the Freescale facility in Kelana Jaya is rubbish. Freescale makes semiconductor chips, not downstream electronic equipment, and that Kelana Jaya facility is a production and assembly plant of semiconductor chips, some of which may be used in missile guidance systems, and looking at announcements on Jobstreet of vacancies at that Freescale plant, it is clear that they are for rather mundane semiconductor chip production work, not high-tech R&D work. Also, it is… Read more »

Honesty Beats ‘Tact’ http://www.sarawakreport.org/talkback/honesty-beats-tact/ Bloomberg‘s Andy Mukherjee: New Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng would do well to remember he is no longer an opposition politician, as while his vocal tell-all approach on the 1MDB scandal certainly wins points for honesty, it is having the opposite effect on investors… Sarawak Comment: To suggest that it is better for the Finance Minister to continue to lie ‘tactfully’, in order to gull investors is preposterous. The run on stocks came after investors realised they had put money into Malaysia based on lies by the previous Prime Minister cum Finance Minister and an administration… Read more »

The cabinet of the few, for the many https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/426518 This is the type of cabinet Malaysia should have at the start of Merdeka 61 years ago. Then we would not have had such issues as corruption, race-based policies, ketuanan (this is still a vexing issue from Constitution #what?), 513, murders, kidnappings, flip-flopping education policies, race-based quotas for almost anything from housing to uni-entrance, & all the unnecessary ‘own-created-dilemmas’ of Malaysia. Had it been ‘should have cabinet’ Malaysia would have been a great nation more than an Asian Tiger – Harimau Nusantara with Sabre. Having said that, politicians should be more… Read more »

Altantuya Murder Case:
IGP to discuss reopening Altantuya case with officers
https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/426197
Inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun said he would need to have discussions with his officers before deciding whether to reopen the investigation into the murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.

“I have to see and discuss with my officers first,” he told reporters in Putrajaya this afternoon…

Public Observation: What is this? Does IGP need to consult his officers? Who is in charge? Is he still beholden to someone? Now is Malaysia Baru, not the old Kleptocrat Malaysia. Pls do your job…

It is amazing that wing parts reached the other side of the Indian Ocean, yet no flotsam (such as seats or life jackets) were found in the area of the crash.

A year or so after the crash, a specialist salvage enterprise published an image of a plane-like shape it created off the West coast of S. Thailand. According to the enterprise, it showed steel, titanium and 2 other metals in the right places, showing that it was the correct plane. The joint search team dismissed this.

It looks like the Aussie gomen is in some kind of conspiracy to hid the real crime of unprecedented aviation tragedy.
At first it promised MH370 would be found within 6 months, then it stretched the search period to one year, then it issued statements that didn’t make sense of search.
Highly suspicious of a hitech aviation crime done by somebody for a sole purpose of military intervention (of something on the way to China), notwithstanding the loss of innocent lives.

Karma is watching Australia.
