Live images from the Nirvana Memorial Park in Semenyih from 1.30pm to 3.00pm – Photos by an eye-witness. (For best results, view slideshow using Firefox browser and press Shift key + Reload/Refresh icon on your browser to clear cache).

1502: Young people at the back are singing “Auld Lang Syne” in Mandarin. Many of them are Beng Hock’s friends and current and ex-colleagues. About 500 people are reportedly gathered at the site.

1327: The crowd at the Park is now waiting for the arrival of the MB and Kit Siang.

1302: The cortege is just arriving at the Nirvana Memorial Park in Semenyih, accompanied by a long convoy of cars, according to my contact at the scene.

Earlier, in the morning, another eye-witness said the convoy from Malacca was perhaps a kilometre long; it was hard to tell for sure.

More than 2,000 people reportedly attended Beng Hock’s funeral at his home in Alor Gajah.

Why Beng Hock death can link to races issue ? These people are crazy to create those unnecessary & sensitive comment against his death. Again, we feel very lost on our government direction nowadays. What a sad case ever had before !!! And yet this is unable to identify !!! Too bad , sad & disappointed over the measure has been raised. We are welcome the theme as “ONE MALAYSIA”, but what are we now ? Criticising & condeming has made people fed up. Enough for now, please stop all this issue by now. What Malaysian wanted is justice in… Read more »

Read more »

Folks, it is time to walk the talk! You and me are the guilty ones! I was certainly dissapointed with the number of attendance in Stadium Kelana Jaya yesterday evening (July 19, 2009). I was expecting a larger crowd, perhaps, 30,000 instead of a meagre 3000. No wonder Najib only send message from Saudi Arabia about Malaysia being defeated by MU by 2-3 rather than 0-6. That’s all he care because during this match, more than 80,000 crowd went for the game in Stadium Bukit Jalil. For him, the 3000 crowd in stadium Kelana Jaya is far insignificant to send… Read more »

An open letter to the journalist fraternity in The Sun, New Straits Times, The Star, Sin Chew Jit Poh, Nanyang Siang Pau, Guang Ming Daily, Kwong Wah Yit Poh, The Edge. Do you accept Zainul Ariffin’s assertion that the Chinese are attacking a Malay institution when MACC is supposed to be a Malaysian public institution supported by Malay, Chinese, Indian, Eurasian, Sikh, Ceylonese, Iban, Kadazan, Bidayuh, Murut, Penan, Bajau, Melanau, Orang Asal taxpayers money? Will you go on record to condemn the racist innuendos of your esteemed colleague and boss (for New Straits Times staff)? We are not talking about… Read more »

Remember, keep this in your heart for the next 36 months or more, n it will be the D-DAY for BN/UMNO!!!!!!!!!!

My deepest condolence to his wife-to-be and family. I suggest that we unite and continue to fight for justice. My common sense tells me that we should get the International Justice Mission founded by Gary Haugen to investigate the case. They will be the only hope we have if we want total truth, nothing but the truth. I don’t trust the BN government and anyone appointed by them. Things can be twisted… Praying hard that those who are responsible will be convicted and punished and all the evils that they have committed will be exposed plus those who are behind… Read more »

A nation mourns a dignified young man who stood his ground against MACC abusers and refused to be used to implicate/fabricate evidences against his bosses.

My deepest sympathy and condolence to the family, hope time will help heal and ease the pain.
