We are running out of time to save the planet. It is as if we don’t care what kind of planet we leave behind for future generations.
Much of the responsibility for saving the planet is being pushed to individuals. But I dare say the culprits who are ruining the planet – chopping down forest, spewing out toxic waste and polluting the rivers, sea and air – are the corporations and those who own them.
Still, if consumers rein in their demand, these corporations will have to think twice about their profits-at-all-cost behaviour.
