An Appeals Board will convene to hear a Lembah Permai (LLP4) residents’ appeal against Sri Setia Sdn Bhd’s approved planning application to build two 32-storey highrise blocks and one nine-storey block at the back of LLP4 in Tanjung Bunga, Penang.

The hearing will be on Friday, 1 February 2013 at 9.00am on 57th Floor, Komtar at the Conference Room for the Appeals Board. Residents are hoping there will be solid support for their objections and appeals.

Also, the Tanjung Bunga Residents Association is interested to hear about the fate of Sungai Kelian, Tanjong Bunga’s main river, which it says has been diverted and partly filled in by the developers. They want to find out what decisions and/or conclusions the Appeal Board head may make on 1 February.
