Large water spout sends flimsy roofing flying in Penang

One of the largest water spouts to spiral around these parts in recent times sent flimsy roofing flying over Tanjung Tokong in the early afternoon today.

The water spout appeared just north of the site where almost 900 acres of land reclamation work is now in progress in northern Penang Island.

The phenomenon came in the wake of nine earthquakes ranging from 4.7 to 5.2 which hit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, North West of Penang, this morning.

Other views of the spout:

Strong winds were also reported in central Java earlier today:

A sign of the times….

Natural havoc because of human greed not to protect the environment e.g. excessive carbon emissions with rising private car ownership?

I don’t know your experience in Nature ie Penang Waterfall @ Botanic Gardens, but I trust you do know more than just environment protection – that Nature is not just the physical manifestation but also the metaphysical (of energies) that collectively sync the harmonious existence of Nature & Mankind. Any imbalance will cause havoc to the synchronicity of Life on Earth. Today’s show of Nature’s power is more than a reminder.

In some countries, people face jail time for using plastic bags. Here are all the places that have banned plastic bags and straws so far.

https://www.businessinsider.my/plastic-bans-around-the-world-2019-4/amp/

On average, a plastic bag has only a 12-minute lifespan. Most bags wind up languishing in landfills, where they can remain for up to 1,000 years. Some make their way into the ocean.

CM Sin Chow. Did you witness this power of Nature from Komtar?
More to come, if arrogance continues.

Bad Feng Shui caused by those ugly high-rise buildings. The Penang mountains has spirits, all those ugly buildings are blocking them.

The elevated (drone) view that one site published shows the rest of the roofs of the 2 blocks of flats undamaged. They don’t seem flimsy or made of “zinc”. They were adequate for their purpose.

Twister in Penang, and now a twist to the tale of disappearances?

The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) is pointing its finger at Bukit Aman in the case of the disappearance of Pastor Raymond Koh, saying that he – like Amri Che Mat – was a victim of “enforced disappearance by state agents”.

Tomorrow 3 April, exactly a decade after he became PM, Najib would be in court (dock?) to stand trial for 3 counts of criminal breach of trust (CBT), one charge with abusing his post and three counts of money laundering over SRC International Sdn Bhd’s funds, totalling RM42 million.
