What brilliant moonlight on this auspicious day. It takes our minds off our troubles, at least momentarily. It reminds us that the light will always pierce through the darkness.
And it is also a telling reminder we should do all we can to protect the natural beauty and ecosystem of this place we call home.
And this morning:
Please help to support this blog if you can. Read the commenting guidlelines for this blog. |
To protect natural beauty and ecosystem, need to have sustainable development that minimise carbon emissions and global warming.
Singapore Green Plan 2030 provides a good reference for us:
Why Sinkapore? They are No 1 in the world in land reclamation but PF has been complaining and making noise Penang should not carry out reclamation.
We can at least learn something from Singapore. They are phasing out cars with fossil fuel for electric car only from 2030.
Also the Singapore ministers can speak very well. Our ministers can learn from them.
Cars? More cars mean more Sinkapore land is required to park and store private cars. More land means for more reclamation. Ministers speak well as they build more MRTs. Mrts are public and care carry more passengers than cars or buses.
But why PF dont understand and complain about Land reclamation when we praise Singkapore as No1?
electric cars? Ask PN for permits first. Any, Sink gomen have a reliable and good transport like Mrts so that people will ditch private cars. Mono rails or light rails need not to share the roads with others. Hence faster and on time rather than cars
Shriek go apply RapidPenang Mutiara Pass can ride buses free of charge until year end.
Anil and fellow activists can join the ride to primote public transport so as to reduce carbon footprints and alleviate congested traffic.
What say u 2??
They need to improve last-mile connectivity and come up with a more effective cross-channel bus service.
How about encourage the use of micromobility devices – bicycles, electric bicycles, and motorised and non-motorised personal mobility devices (PMDs) – for short-distance (last mile) travel?
If not, just walk to burn away your body fat and help to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.
If you can think of something that costs a lot, they will consider. Look at what they came up with for the JB-S’pore link. Only a bus service, that could even be free, was required.
Next time Penang will have LRT, then use the traditional trishaw to provide last KM connectivity – old and new combined! Can preserve heritage too?
Activists should not expect perfection.
Get the masses to support public transport on island despite its present shortcomings.
Last-mile connectivity meantime prior to perfection we can count on Grab to reach final destinations.
Take a small step forward for eventual big leap in public transport mindset.
everyone includes you should take Rapid. In this world there is no perfect connectivity right to the door step. If right to door step, then the premises or house subject to traffic human traffic noises. Why KL has light rail and Peng land only feather rail that flies away?
Last mile connectivity via walking.
Burn calories.
Pump the heart for better blood circulation.
Sweat out to remove toxins thru skins.
Walking = dangerous. Sweating = low class. Air-con = high class. Better to pay med. insurance, specialist etc. That is what the infrastructure, services (e.g. security) and marketing tells us.
EcoweCo. Card Game – Penang Green Council
This EcoweCo. card game is an interactive card game for all – kids and adults of all ages. It encourages observation, responsiveness and interaction amongst players. The name EcoweCo. was inspired by its objective to spread eco-friendly methods in our daily lives. The “weCo.” stands for “we Collaborate, Cooperate, Contribute and Coexist”. These are the 4 main pillars in tackling environment and climate crisis.
Gerakan Dominic saw the Chap Goh Mei moon in Penang, found a long-awaited inspiration to justify its inclusion of PN to voters as a counterbalance force to PAS increasing influence in the name of diversity?

Why no comment on FMT’s report on Peng land kia’s almost hanged in Sinkapore. Mr Beh peng land kia has to cari makan in JB-Singkapore. In past, Peng land kias are very rich. See many mansions and how huay kuans give a hand and and legs. Now, huay kuans are empty coffers like Mr Beh.
Peng land kias cari makan in Singkapor is honorable, no need to count on prihatin handouts. But lately 1+1+1+… politicians defect as frogger to cari makan in other coalition or to escape prosecution not ashamed to be accused as traitors. Today millenials prefer to look up to social media influencers to guide their lifestyles instead of huay kuan clan. Millenials give money to Lazada and Shopee for online gratification so Huay Kuan now hopelessly look at empty coffers.
1+1+1+…….
Lure of $ or to stay away from Kluster Mahkamah?
Aliran or Anilnetto.com to write about Katak Phenomenon?
Cari makan in Sink apor is honourable but not honourable for Peng land gomen as they are unable to provide jobs for sons and daughters of Peng land. The bright moon shinning over Tg Bungah is meaninless to them. Peng land is not lifting the poverty and this contrast with Cina as they lifted 700 millions of their sons and daughters. Now they can give $$ to their overseas relatives. They can just fly over like taking a taxi to eat Peng land ang har durian. Can Peng land kias fly to Beijing to eat Beijing duck only?
Penang lost 2 iconic food haunts
But Penang Culture street food now available in Singkapor
Peng land is losing not only losing its food culture but orso its peng land kias and ah lains. The nyonyas of Peng land have disappear. What next? Peng land forum just made noise?
New Lane hawker fare in Penang
Pride of Penang Kias.
If Peng land kias cannot afford to fly to Beijing to eat beijing duck, can they afford to eat frog or katak’s legs? Surprise in other parts of the world due to pollution and anti corruption, population of frogs have decreased. But here population of frogs have increase. A very good sign for the Gomen MoE?
Penang frog legs even Caucasian recommended
https://youtu.be/s846HVfRKJM
Could be new delicacies to entice foreign tourists in conjunction with actual scenario niw with truly asia malaysia
In conjunction with eating of frog legs, maybe include a sight seeing into a museum of frogs and world record of frogs that jump from party to party or parties???
Free Malaysia Today on 12 March highlight Peng land Ah Lian N. Yeoh bring Peng Land food to Eng land. Many Peng land kias and ah Lians are leaving Peng land and bring their skills to the new found land. No wonder Sink a Por claims many food originated from them when millions of Sink a por langs are eating out and with their $$$, they soon export Sink a por made food to all over the world.
