Blow to democracy: Police enter the Perak State Assembly this afternoon
I ran into Sivakumar a couple of hours after he was literally dragged out from the Speaker’s chair in the Perak State Assembly by police and other officers. He looked relaxed after what must have been the most difficult day of his life.
“The Dewan was full of police,” said Siva. “I was taken to a room that looked like a changing room in the Dewan.”
Another Adun, Yee Seu Kai (Pokok Assam) told me there were close to a hundred police and other officers, mostly in plain clothes, in the Dewan this afternoon.

Perakian against SODOMY !! You know what i mean..
charge Dr zambry for impersonating MB for the past 3 months and making mockery of the state affairs.
same goes to the police who enter t Dewan Undangan Negeri and mishandling Sivakumar and the stupid Ganesan (new speaker).
1HERO – Sivakumar
1HOPE – Pakatan Rakyat as government of Malaysia
1VISION – TSUNAMI 2
1MISSION – Vote BN out in GE13
1PROMISE – MALAYSIAN MALAYSIA
1IMMEDIATE ACTION – make every Monday 1BLACK MALAYSIA day; wear full black
Mr Sivakumar sir it should be MESRA dengan rakyat not messing with the rakyat.Long Live Democrasy…..
… they jealous of Pakatan Rakyat because PR not only have intelligent people, look at the leaders. Got Charisma! Our BN Leader? PR people are degree holders…. Don’t know lah these people from UMNO from which school?…
Now you wonder as to why CNN, ABC or BBC only interview Anwar..they jealous.
I totally agreed with Sabahan ‘1Malaysia No to BN’
What have happened to YB Sivakumar was totally unacceptable and very inhumane.
Remember everyone, if UMNO can do that to a public figure all this while how did they treat us the citizens? UMNO wants us only during elections. Isn’t it Sivakumar is also a citizen and one of the voters? Think that. We should not wait for the next election to protest. We should do it now….
They (Barisan Najib) did it again. They make full use of police and what-nots to gain power thru’ the MOST HORRIFIED and UNJUSTIFIED DRAMA of a State Assembly Sitting in the world!! Shame, shame on you, the BN!
MR SIVAKUMAR.one word RESPECT.
And not an intelligent face among the PDRM…
SIVAKUMAR HERO MALAYA….HIDUP SIVAKUMAR
siva, huge respect for you.
Malaysian police, takde kerja lain ke? how much it cost us this time? 3 million ringgit to put u guys in hotel and canopies etc?
Of those plain clothes, who can prove that they are police? BN allowed thugs to invade the state assembly!
” 1MALAYSIA NO TO BN ” RAKYAT’S NEW SLOGAN
They only care about the power of rule forever rather than the thugs outthere killed the innocents without mercy like Mat Rempits.
Puke…..
@Angela Ooi, spot on. The men in blue can barge in DUN Perak to take sides and do the bidding of (to say the least) suspicious people, but they cannot protect OKU in Parlimen against Pemuda thugs. Lucky you, if it makes sense to you. There is always a silver lining now: – BN signed rang its death knell in Perak and in many honest Malaysians’ heart. – the crisis revealed new and younger talent in the PR pool: Nizar and Sivakumar. I am very impressed how the latter managed, despite all odds against him, to keep the calm and… Read more »
Anyway I would like to thank the PDRM and the umno goons for their cooperations, they are just digging their own graves deeper, black malaysia? perhaps it is a turning point for Malaysia!
Watch how our police and special branch allowed to enter the Perak Assembly to enforce the brute removal of Sivakumar.
Go here: http://malaysianunplug.blogspot.com/2009/05/malaysians-should-never-ever-forget.html
Now everyone has seen what happened and I must say, should not be a surprise. Was there any doubt before this day that those in power are abusing the power given to them by the people? The abuse is so blatant and right in our faces and reads a big ‘SO WHAT!!??!!” Yes, so what? We can complain and rant and threaten to so and tell them to watch out for the next GE. By that time, they would already have emptied the coffers…. Do you think they care if they will get re-elected?? This is not really about power.… Read more »
Mr.Siva, you are the true hero of Malaysian. Thank you for fighting the evil till the end. It’s alright that you could defeat the Evilness. But the days are numbred for those who were responsible in dragging you out of the august house.
Ganesan is not an elected adun ,he has no business in the Secretariat building, He should not be allowed to go in.
Has he violated the injuction?
Why was he not arrested?
On the other hand, why ordinary people who are in black, while sitting in the restaurant are being arrested?
What have the police done in curbing the criminals from killing innocent pregnant mothers?
What are their core duties?
ONE MALAYSIA, yes, indeed ONE BLACK MALAYSIA.
These goons will never change, and they never want to change.
Only their slogans changed.
Another situation:
What if the police enters the Parliament and dragged the speaker out…?
YB Siva is a hero for the rakyat. What happened to him today is unacceptable.
Is this Ganesan, the same as this Ganesan?….former two-term Sungkai state assemblyman…wait a minute…that means that he was never even wanted by the Rakyat in the first place…another back door candidate…just like KTK of Penang…shame on you…what…he is a lawyer and practicing in Ipoh too???…what a sad day for the legal profession
The PDRM must make it clear once and for all. Can they or can they not enter Parliament or a state assembly? The last time they said they cannot enter Parliament when Karpal was confronted by UMNO youths. This time around, they were there by the dozens in the Perak state assembly building. Which is which? State governments of Selangor, Penang, Kedah and Kelantan, be better prepared. Your turn may come next, now that the evil forces think that they have gained control of Perak state government legally. They may want to do the same, starting with Selangor? Remember who… Read more »
Mr. Siva Kumar, to me you are still the Speaker and one very brave man. Malaysians who respect law and order (nothing of that in Malaysia)know that you did no wrong. MB Nizar and all the other Pakatan aduns and MPs are also to be saluted for syanding up fpr democracy.
