Eight student reps held in Sabah now FREED

0131 (Monday): “Menurut Pengerusi Pro-M UMSKK, saudara Muhammad Asyraf Che Ani, kesemua yang ditahan telah dibebaskan. Syabas!” So says a tweet by @MsiswaGANYANG.

The eight, who were being held at the Karamusing Police Station, are Fahmi Zainol, Ainullutfi, Asyraf Che Ani, Fathihie, Jamhuri, Fadhil, Nazrin, and Tan Choonan. They were without a lawyer.

Fahmi is from the University of Malaya, another one is from Universiti Teknologi Mara (Uitm), three from UMS (Kota Kinabalu campus)and three from UMS (Labuan campus).

They had been blocked from holding a rally at the University of Malaysia Sabah.

Earlier on Sunday morning, some of the students were brought to the Kota Kinabalu Police Station.

Why our police never act on those criminals but tend to bully opposition members and university students?

off topic but relevant to those who are looking for affordable housings in Penang as reported in NST today :

The housing projects announced by the state are said to be built in 12 locations, including areas like Jalan SP Chelliah, Jelutong, Pintasan Cecil and Sandilands, Teluk Kumbar, Ampang Jajar, Kampung Jawa, Mak Mandin, Ujung Batu, Bandar Cassia and Bukit Mertajam.
