This is just a group of peaceful citizens who are trying to lodge a report and I dont think they come to messed up things that day, but the response given by PDRM and FRU is seem to be “unmature” or maybe the one that order them to do so is “unmature”.

People are not animal and the group of peaceful citizens know that but the other group with the uniforms…?

Malaysia is a multi racial country, they should know that from long ago.

…er….when the seventeen peaceful protestors/people wanting to make a police report lawfully were arrested why did the other 283 not also sit down calmly and then demand politely to be also arrested along with the other 17?…why did the PRDM only choose to arrest 17 of them when they were all doing exactly the same action?

Hats off to the 300 though as they are being sterlingly brave but I think being more disciplined than the PRDM would have raelly opened people’s eyes wider.

Malaysia will never change as along as UMNO is in power. UMNO will not lose power even if they lose elections … see what happened in Perak. The level of corruption is too deep for democracy to work. They say only people power can bring about change but is it really? How can that be when they can resort to force and keep hurting the people with water canon, police torture, imprisonment and what not? How many people must (suffer)? I suggest pro-human rights people unite and get the UN to (help)… … for now, to start off, go and… Read more »

Apart from the bullying of peaceful citizens just trying to lodge a report, which is the right of every citizen, what a terrible waste of water.

Why are my taxes being used for this kind of abuse of human rights? I pay my taxes to improve social welfare, not for police excess.

…Polis are using the wrong approach here .
I do think it is good. Good to use the wrong approach.
… now means the public hates the bn.
I do think Syed Albar (KDN ) did a great job.
Now the public are waiting for a snap election.

Imagine if they (FRU) would get sprayed by chemical water I wonder what would they feel? Will they be able to feel the torture and torments innocent and unharmed bystanders have to go through? No mercy and compassion at all! What sort of human right is this? The right to get sprayed by chemical water that threatens one’s health? How much more people will have to suffer?
Let us bear in mind that the FRU are humans too!

The police must have PR When dealing with the public Demonstrators and political opponents When they go to the streets Orderly marches Though without police permit In the Federal Constitution it is our rights To display our displeasures peacefully Candle vigils police harass Even gathered peacefully couldn’t be done The police will charge aggressively Saying these silent vigils disturbing the peace When crimes hit high On the streets where are the police? The perception they have been taken Into the allege tunnels of the darkness Only the powerful and cronies The police seem bending to give protection No matter how… Read more »

How shameless to intimidate a small group of 300 with water cannons and FRU. This will definitely increase the anger of the Indian community towards BN. Are the votes of the Indian community not important? Take note that Chinese may also vote in sympathy with their Indian brothers.

Malaysian police are not representing the rakyat but UMNO! So barbaric – for what reason to treat peaceful demonstrators of Hindraf and who are fighting for human rights of the very ill Uthaya and the other unjustly ISA detained activists? How come UMNO Youth thugs who …like gangsters, Mr Karpal Singh, who is even disabled, and that these gansters are even committing such crime in the Parliament, thus are not water-canoned and immediately arrested by the police and FRU? Are the police going to arrest these gangsters? Are these Umno gangsters … trying to stir up racial-religious hatred towards non-Malays/non-Muslims… Read more »

I had to go to Brickfields for an important appointment but was extremely late for the meeting as the police closed the first entry into brickfields.

There were massive jams because of this and the whole of KL was messed up.

Why close the entry into brickfields and disrupt entry for people who got legitimate business there? Who is going to compensate me for my loss?

I HAD WATCHED THE 9 MINUTES VIDEO AND IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT SUCH THING CAN HAPPEN IN THIS COUNTRY WHEN PEOPLE JUST WANT TO FILE POLICE REPORTS. I CAN HEAR SOMEBODY SHOUTING ONLY ANOTHER 3 YEARS. I SUPPOSE HE MEANT THE 13 GENERAL ELECTION. BUT THE QUESTION IS, WHAT ARE THE CHANCES FOR PAKATAN WINNING THE 13th GENERAL ELECTION PROVIDED THE SUPPORT FROM THE MALAYS INCREASE TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. I AM HOPING FOR THE BEST

I am really impressed with our fellows from the PDRM. …
Come on, there are about only 300 HINDRAF supporters who were on a peaceful protest for better treatment for their leader. You surely don’t need this kind of show of strength to intimidate the public. While crime rate is on the increase, these fellows were busy putting down a peaceful demonstration….
