Pak Tim, the last time it was held at the Esplanade Padang, it was well attended and peaceful. Also, volunteers stayed back to clean up the Esplanade Padang. Only in Penang was this done! Aren’t you proud to be a Penangite?

Gandhi inspired Martin Luther King Junior but the black are not any better today compared to yesterday. Martin Inspired Nelson Mandela. Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela succeeded in ridding their people from institutionalized racial discrimination. Gandhi fought and secured independence for his people and country just like Tunku Abdul Rahman, Soekarno etc. All of them had at one time or other went against the then existing laws that were meant to preserve the status quo more than anything else.
