The police should uphold the people’s constitutional right to assemble peacefully, Bersih said

What about the consitutional rights of the people whose lives have been disrupted.

nkhoo. I always give true facts not deception when I open my mouth. Its what have been said by Bersih chief but they must also understand and not disrupt my constitutional rights. Understand the comment first before opening your mouth.

Pak Tim, the last time it was held at the Esplanade Padang, it was well attended and peaceful. Also, volunteers stayed back to clean up the Esplanade Padang. Only in Penang was this done! Aren’t you proud to be a Penangite?

Documentary on air pollution in China –>

Taking the country by storm, raising a stink,
airing dirty linen, recently “disappeared” by the
authorities after attracting millions of hits by the Mainland Chinese
population, (blackening the image of the country?)

Henry David Thoreau inspired Mohandas Gandhi,
who inspired Martin Luther King Junior,
who inspired Nelson Mandela,

Henry David Thoreau inspired Gandhi that resulted into more etnic violence and India breaking into 2. Gandhi inspired Martin Luther King Junior but the black are not any better today compared to yesterday. Martin Inspired Nelson Mandela. He became President and died in 2013 at the age of 95, with continued instances of violence & racism. Compare that to us. We have 55 years of peace and tolerance among the various races. Do you one 1 or 2 men to destroy everything just becuase of his rhetoric tales of freedom and rights. Just like in Malaysia, we cannot let it… Read more »

Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela succeeded in ridding their people from institutionalized racial discrimination. Gandhi fought and secured independence for his people and country just like Tunku Abdul Rahman, Soekarno etc. All of them had at one time or other went against the then existing laws that were meant to preserve the status quo more than anything else.
