This is the people’s victory celebration in Tahrir Square in Cairo today. Egyptians are not resting on their laurels and letting down their guard in their quest for real and meaningful democracy.
They are not content just because Mubarak has left, leaving behind his henchmen.
Instead, many ordinary Egyptians want a complete break with the repressive, exploitative political-economic seem system, rather than just a change of faces at the top.

‘Seem’=scene?
It’s a brilliant sight. We must be closer than ever before to bringing back the original idea behind democracy where every citizen has their say, mustn’t we? Let’s hope Egypt shows us the way forward.
