Live coverage tomorrow: All eyes on Perak

state-secretariat-building

2302: All’s quiet in ‘sleepy’ Ipoh tonight. It’s been raining the whole evening, says my contact in Ipoh. At Ground Zero, FRU trucks are parked in front of the state secretariat/assembly building.

Even the MB’s residence is exceptionally quiet. Not even a ‘ghost’ in sight. Where’s everyone?

In just over eight hours, another drama will begin in Ipoh, the latest chapter in the constitutional crisis that has captured the attention of Malaysia.

With a couple of contacts in Ipoh providing me updates, I hope to provide some modest live coverage from about 8.00am tomorrow. If you are in Ipoh as well, do send in your comments and eye-witness reports if you see or hear anything on the ground.

The roads to the state secretariat building have been barricaded and all appointments for tomorrow at the state secretariat building have been cancelled.

Please help to support this blog if you can.

If the Law Council and every honest Rakyat in Malaysia allows UMNO to do win this (sealing the Secretariat and playing stupid games), we can expect the highest level of corruption to rule. Can we now say that the Speaker of Parliament can also be side-stepped this way by the Opposition? What the Federal Government is pushing for is a lawless society. They are opening a “can of worms” and remember that the Rakyat will never forget this…..

The more the BN leaders open their mouths the more they reveal their stupidity born out of arrogance.
The political imbroglio in Perak is is a struggle between democracy and tyranny between good and evil.

Government led by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim ……REFORMASI !
Hidup Rakyat !
HRH Tuanku Sultan Perak, please allow the Rakyat to decide in a New Election who they want to lead Perak.

Few quotes below by Napolean for our leadership to revisit and get their senses on the right direction • Public opinion is the thermometer a monarch should constantly consult. • A throne is only a bench covered with velvet. • Do not talk to me of goodness, of abstract justice, of nature law. Necessity is the highest law, public welfare is the highest justice. • There is no strength without justice. • Force is the law of animals, men are ruled by conviction. • It would be a joke if the conduct of the victor had to be justified to… Read more »

Its best the BN rule the country in accordance with the constitution. Accept changes and live with it for the future of the NATION. Urgently, abolish ISA, otherwise its a matter of time when the same will be used by the next ruling coalition to fix all their opposition. Let us be a developed nation to accept challenges of globalisation and let the rakyat have their say in the choosing thier rightful representatives to run the country. Our politicians think of the next eclection, but we want statesmen who think of the next generation.

They are ignorant of the Constitution and the only thing in their mind is “Power and Greed”. They have thrown away the Silverian state’s constitution and their acts of blocking the Secretariat building and disrupting the holy assembly are indeed an act of “penderhakaan”… It’s an irony. Now we know who are the people who are truly “menderhaka”…. Have a fresh election and bury all the court cases. Please let the people have their choice of candidates by dissolving the state assembly. Enough is enough. We have to start working now, time is running short. The economy tsunami will be a… Read more »

If there is ISA for pakatan..
that’s the end for BeEnd..
they don’t know that they are only making rakyat feel more disgusted, and that opens rakyat’s eye on who is right and who is wrong, who is the good one and who is the devil.

They really never learnt their lesson.

as part of BN’s SOP, Zambry has again equate UMNO security with national security when they run out of idea how to score. is syed hamid on standby with his ISA ready to (undermine) the democratic process? let’s pray that true justice prevails.

This drama is the creation of the brutal UMNO regime, who will not stop at anything, just to grasp on to power. The law of the jungle is in full flight, the situation will only going to deteriorate further…possibly bringing the economy of the nation along, particularly, State of Perak. … is solely responsible for the uncertainties of the State. If this fella is going to behave the same with he has complete power as a PM, one will wonder how more uglier, his type of politics, he will inject into the country. There is very little hope the arrogant… Read more »

Thanks Anil and the live reporter!

Place must be crawling with the Police!

So all the “Mata-mata” (Police) busy one, lah!

I’m gonna start calling them “mata-mata” from now on, as that’s waht they are, “mata” of the Kerajaan, which doesn’t include any of us! There must have been dissenters among the “penjajah” in those days. And this term they coined, “mata-mata”, couldn’t have been more apt!

Everybody should read Tommy Thomas article

http://www.thenutgraph.com/speaker-can-call-state-assembly-meeting

It goes to show that the speaker can call a state assembly meeting.

Are we going to follow the Rule of Law?

Or do we have any Rule of Law?

Once again we are witnessing how the arrogant BN/UMNO regime operates. Also how the PDRM is operating. This is absurd madness. Called a democratic country but now, speakers rights are being challenged too. Najib and gang are driving the people up the wall.
