Aung San Suu Kyi delivers Nobel lecture to standing ovations

The Burma pro-democracy leader delivered her Nobel Peace Prize acceptance lecture in Oslo yesterday – 21 years after her son had received the award on her behalf – and received a prolonged standing ovation.

Suu Kyi’s son had accepted the award in 1991 on her behalf (see below) at a time when she was stuck in Burma.

Aung San Suu Kyi returned to Burma politics after years of unjust political imprisonment to lead the reform movement.

Same thing is happening in Malaysia. DSAI will be back to lead Malaysia for the real transformation after the next GE.
