1Malaysia?

Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister George Chan says Sarawakians should reject all candidates standing under the ticket of Semenanjung-based opposition parties.

He claimed they would only listen to their political masters from Semenanjung Malaysia and forget about the interests of Sarawak people and their well-being, according to a Borneo Post report.

“At least all the state BN components are truly Sarawak parties. We have been and shall continue to defend and protect the rights, interests and well-being of all the people here.

Let me get this straight – only Sarawak-based parties can serve Sarawakians best? Is this his idea of 1Malaysia?

I supposes he thinks Taib’s administration has worked in the best interests of Sarawak and its people. (Obviously, he is not telling us about all those bothersome Sarawak Report exposes.)

And what about Umno’s role in Sabah then?

1-Malaysia?
To me it is compelling 1-way ticket promotion to leave Malaysia.
To me it is 1-too may self-contradictions of many moronic politicians.
To me, it holds no water, no visible promise, no 1-future.
To me, it doesn’t 1-to work for my children’s education and their future.
To me, 1-Malaysia is to be 1-foolish slave for others for life, which is totally unacceptable, ridiculous and indecent against the rights of a God created human being.

FROM AWARENESS TO REAL BUSINESS

Let all the peoples of the world first have full awareness
Then only you can have concrete actions to carefully harness
Reminding all that correct political response is their business
If they really want for themselves and descendents true fairness

…as i HAVE said before, apart from some unprecceded change,(the swing of chinese votes in SIBU recently) there IS still the stumbling block that is epitomised(abridgement/curtailment)of developing progress in SABAH and SARAWAK. MOST unfortunately, the advancement , the will for each or both across the sea, eastern ‘brethen’ states of Sabah and Sarawak(Malaysia), are somewhat hampered by the very natives themselves, like the Bidayuhs, the Muruts, the kadazans, the Dyaks, etc., etc, who are also being ‘benevolently’ termed as BUMIS, have always the entrenched mind, that they, by inclusively labelled/’legistrated’ as such(BUMIS), they think that by only voting in the… Read more »

That is what a BN friendly will say but who will listen? Perhaps the rakyat should listen to what Blog for Change says, As long as BN whip is never lifted irrespective of issue, never vote for a BN candidate irrespective of reputation. Why? Simple. Can a BN MP represent his/her constituency? No, because of the BN whip. A BN MP represent the executive, not his/her constituency because a BN MP is forced to vote as per the executive direction, as as per what the constituent wants. Will follow up with a more comprehensive post late to explain in greater… Read more »

What have Umno/BN has done for you except to enrich themselves with your money himself.? Also that your CM. and his family as (multimillionaires)/billionaires after so many years of joining Malaysia that Sarawak could not have done themselves without these … people?
Just add up the amount of money the federal government have taken from Sarawak since becoming part of Malaysia !… just look at Singapore emulate what they have done even without any natural resources.

People is Sarawak voted for BN just to get the ‘goodies’, as they are really in need of basic items we have taken for granted.
