Thailand’s most senior forensic pathologist, the renowned Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand, dropped a bombshell at the Teoh Beng Hock inquest today.

Dr Khairul and Dr Prashant can attend the 2nd Autopsy too. Mr Tan Hock Chuan and those lawyers representing MACC can attend too.

After this inquest, should set up a charge against (those responsible). (If) the evidence (had) been tempered with…it will be uphill battle. But justice must seen to be done. This inquest is not a show only, due process must take place, charges must be made….

Dr. Pornthip is a highly regarded expert who investigated many police-custody deaths in Thailand, including the abuse of southern muslims. It is unfortunate she could not directly examine Teoh’s body.

I can’t help but to speak out in favor of a young early-30s gentlemen. Regardless of any circumstances, suicide will never come across one’s mind (or at least manifest in action). I have met countless young people in griever situation whether deeply indebted with “Ah Long”, drug addict, burdened by sick family members, etc but they came out of it like a MAN. If think suicide is the case, I think you are either not a MAN or lesser than a MAN.
P/S : I have been through worse situation but I was responsible for my deeds and came out of it gracefully. Even though I do not know Beng Hock personally, but I think he is a strong person (that is why MACC took it too far to break his spirit).

Dr Pontip testified that 80% is homicide and 20% suicide.
And Gerakan K was jumping around … as if the chances of 20% suicide will rule over the 80% of homicide…
For MACC to win the argument that Beng Hock jumped to his death, yes, 50% of Malaysians have to commit suicide first to establish that kind of theory. That is fund low, wedding is near, commit suicide.

It is really a new phenomena in malaysia’s blogging history. It started with great enthusiasm shortly after najib took over. There was even “public acknowledgement” by the pahang state government that they would hire retiree , who by most account needed a bit of pocket money, to correct faulty perception of the government. So an attempt at disinformation and misinformation is on-going.
A few of these cyber-attack-(folks) are now very active in a few of the more popular blogs in malaysia. Such dirty cyber tricks had been on-going by very big companies such as the pharmaceutical industry for quite a few years since 1995. In malaysia this is the first time umno are actively involved in mis- and dis-information.
What is mis-information ? This is basically information that are lies. Most of the time it is speculative in nature. Recognise it and be aware of it. The misinformation is designed to shape our perception to what the manipulators, the puppet-masters want you to believe. Things such as “I have it on VERY GOOD AUTHORITY that so-and-so is a xxxx”.
What is dis-information ? It is basically information or facts that are half true that points you somewhere else. This is to lead you away from a particular mindset that you have of BN/umno. Failing which it is to cast doubt or to create in the mind of the people analysis impotency. Such strategy could be countered with good and complete facts. Recognise them and recognise the insidiousness of this strategy.
If we stick with what is true, sincere and honest we will not be manipulated so easily. Read more widely and more importantly ask hard uncomfortable questions.
