Feeling depressed about Malaysia’s future? They say the youth are the hope for the future. Well, if these young people are any indication, the country could be a hip and multiracial place to be – never mind that grumpy macha at the end of the video. 😉

Machas?
Theres hardly any machas at all there.
Maybe this is Nacheap’s 1 Malaysia? Malaysia dominated by 1 race.
Thomas,
Have you met the hundreds and thousands of young Malaysians in the local public universities?
Maybe you won’t be so optimistic after that.
Excellent! Fresh!! loved it.:-))
Bloody brilliant. As a college and uni student, I’ve met literally thousands of young Malaysians of all races and religions who really represent the best of Malaysia, Najib’s 1Malaysia notwithstanding. Despite being a still largely KL centred minority, its all these people that gives me hope for a better Malaysia in the future. And yeah Sean, ditto on the trumpet man.
Cheers.
Thomas
Oh – just spotted the ‘multiracial’. Do you mean ‘diverse’? The latter means ‘people are different’ the former is ‘countably many types of’. Apartheid was multiracial. Most modern societies with laws against (racist or otherwise) discrimination are diverse.
yes, diverse, plural, inclusive.
If a school principal can be a racist, what more would you expect from the school children?
I want to live in *that* Malaysia. I love the trumpet in this!
