When the Bible told us Jesus rose on the 3rd day, it meant He had been dead for 2 nights.
The day of crucifixion is called the 1st day. 🙂
Jesus has established the Kingdom of justice and peace and righteousness. The Kingdom of God has come. It is here. The Kingdom of God is the New Creation. The world here and now is the Old Creation which will soon pass away and be no more forever.
He was dead for 3 days and 3 nights, and on the 3rd day He rose.. His resurrection gives meaning to life.
