A large crowd of about 20,000 turned up in a little pekan in Bukit Selambau last night for a ceramah by Anwar Ibrahim, according to a source who was present.

Other speakers included Gobalakrishnan and Tian Chua.

A by-election will be held in this area on 7 April.

May Bukit Selambau be a lession for Najib’s and UMNO’s “terlampau” tactics, before Malaysian voters bury Bee End in four year’s time. Sooner, if there is a snap General Election.
Malaysians are awakening and it is time of reckoning for UMNO and Bee End, before both self-destruct.
Hidup Rakyat.

BN (appears to be) working on another strategy by getting more people to be independent candidates in Bukit Selambau. They hope this method will confuse voters and reduce Pakatan’s margin. Bad news is Perakians won’t be fooled by (such) vicious techniques.

Make Bukit Selambau another lession for UMNO terlampau! UMNO/BN can use all their tricks but they cannot buy elections anymore. Voters will see to this and this would be a fitting end “Bee End”!

“They think they can shout my face when I go to Bukit Selambau…but I’ll shut their face when I go there. When they talk I also got a lot of subjects to talk about them”.
~ Samy Vellu on the up coming Bukit Selambau by-election

Cakap! Jangan tak cakap Samy! Talk about Maika Holdings, MIED, AIMST University, P.Chitrakala and Sujatha. Chitrakala is rumoured to speak there. The topic is “Samy Vellu, As We Know Him”.

That’s good for a start. But like you said earlier, PR can’t take that for granted, just because a large crowd was there. A lot of work needed to ensure a PR victory.

Of course BN has the money (rakyat’s money) to play with…! Wasting our money on plastic rather than look seriously into our economy..! All we can do is just comment but yet BN don’t seem to care still. They are not affected by the ‘longkang’ economy coz of their well paid salary & plus, plus…! PKR can do better but no money to play with…! Actually don’t need much. Just recycle all the banners, flags & etc… with PKR logo on it. Anil…., What you can do is those who support PKR can donate to a specific fund which can… Read more »

What the pilot witnessed as he banked his aircraft to the port side was a huge ball of fire with all the smithreens flying in different directions and falling into God knows where…Pilot reports: Chico One to Base: Enemy subject totally disintegrated. Mission accomplished. Returning to home base. Over and Out. Tally-ho, my sweeties!(referring to his back up squadron) Bye! Bye!Bingo Nothches (BN, of course)!

Is it a promising sign of good things to come or, is is just a mirage?
With all the questionable events unfolding around us, PR should have no problem recapturing the seat…unless dirty tactics are once again used by UMNO. Let’ see!

A shame Anwar can’t be in two places at the same time. Esplanade missed his Midas touch last night.
