Videos: New AG, Najib’s grip on power, and the gloomy economic outlook

A collection of videos here which sums up the state of the country today.

Catch a glimpse of Najib’s handpicked new attorney general, who argues simplistically that 1MDB complied with Bank Negara’s reporting requirements.

So if there’s no problem, why is there a problem with 1MDB, which the Rulers want resolved? And why are the financial statements not ready?

And what do you make of the new PAC chairman from Rompin, who is a new first-term MP. He was selected as a by-election candidate after Jamaluddin Jarjis untimely death.

And here is the gutsy Noor Faridah Ariffin talking about Bersih and the Red Shirt rally and the racial bogey, which some have seen as an attempt to divert attention from 1MDB.

And the following video is a discussion about the fiscal deficit in the face of a commodity price slump, especially oil. Check out the funds outflow in equities and bonds at 0:58.

Not looking good, is it.

“You don’t raise the toll, you pay compensation… less money for other things, less money for BR1M. So you have to decide. There is always a trade-off because of limited funds,” said Najib, in his speech at the Gerakan annual national.

Toll hike is to support BR1M program?

Finally , as “good” as Brazil.

While our Malaysia soccer standard is at the bottom level and Brazil at top level. Malaysia sure is fast catching up to another world class standard.
We have all the potentials to excel and catch up with Brazil.

The most ‘powerful’ man in BolehLand.
And for the latest: PKR’s Petaling Jaya Selatan MP Hee Loy Sian has submitted a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in the Order Paper for the Parliament meeting starting tomorrow.
May Karma Laws strike like lightning.

The latest survey by independent pollster Merdeka Centre show only 31% of Malay voters is satisfied with the BN government. This is the first time approval for the government among Malays has fallen below 50% since Merdeka Centre began recording the data in February 2012. The fall among Malay voters was drastic as it had stood at 52% this January. The survey found only 17% of respondents were satisfied with how the government was handling the economy, compared to 78% who were dissatisfied.

Najib is practising Authoritarianism, no wonder Tengku Ismail of Johor has warned that the state has every right to secede from Malaysia if it finds a breach to the terms agreed upon its membership to the Federation of Malaysia.
