I thought this snippet from a Malaysiakini report was interesting. It quotes Kajang Municipal Councillor Tan Boon Hwa, who was also being questioned by the MACC, as saying he saw Teoh in the pantry:
Tan said the MACC raided his house on Wednesday evening without a warrant. He was then taken to the Selangor MACC headquarters at about 9pm.
When asked, Tan said he did not know that Teoh was in the same building when he was brought there. The duo met only when Tan woke up at about 6am the following day while on the way to the toilet.
“He was in the pantry. I greeted him, but he replied only with a ‘Umh’. But when I came out of the toilet, he was gone. He did look a little tired,” said Tan.
The MACC says that Teoh was released at 3.45am yesterday but he chose to “stay back and sleep on a couch, where he was last seen at 6am.”
So Teoh must have died some time between 6.00am on Wednesday and 1.30pm, when his body was found.

wow…I have been censored…
Teoh (could have) jumped to his death after been threatened by… underworld kingpins….
Deo, go figure…
… Teoh is the innocent man but caught in the web of (alleged) corruption….
Wow, the champions of human right, rule of law and democarcy already decided MACC had murdered Teoh even without any forensic or other corroborating evidence. How can we can Malaysians are matured and ready for First World democracy when we read the comments here ? Almost all comments sounds like the ranting of illogical and irrational minds. Some turned this issue into a racial matter while others made wild speculations. Isn’t we those supporting a civil society should do the right thing by pressing for a through investigations and for justice to prevail rather than indulging in irrational speculations ?… Read more »
Tan may have bumped into Teoh’s soul at 6am.
Teoh may have been “released from this world” between 1.30am to 3.45am.

As it is, people are dying in government custody under mysterious circumstances.
If we do not speak up now,and demand accountability, our silence will embolden these (responsible).
What is to stop them sending out deathsquads to eliminate anyone they wish – in their homes,in the streets, anywhere and conveniently blame it on criminals. We will become a society ruled by fear.
While sipping over a cuppa of coffee with my coffee gangs our general agreement is : This is the result of what profession you are in…. A carpenter have to watch out of your hammer.. you get hit yourself if you are not alert at all time… likewise a politician have to watch your language otherwise you land yourself under ISA OSA MCCA … The BN govt have to give a transparent reply to the public…. They are fast losing ground in the coffee shop … We always agreed the Pak Lah is more democratic and somewhat more gentleman in… Read more »
Have you all heard the term…….
“It’s becoz I can get away with it…!!!”
Err…..
How many times already…..???????????
Mr TBH, let your ‘spirit’ tell the TRUTH, ok !
Oops my mistake. Dariff Din saw him at 6pm the previous day while Tan saw him the following morning.
6 a.m.? Or 6 pm the previous day – Check out http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/32655-another-victim-of-maccs-racism
tan was only released at 1.30pm. the same time when teoh’s body was found. A coincidence? or Teoh was under the custody of MACC much later than 3.45am!
observe the torn pants and RPK’s reconstruction of events leading to Teoh’s death.
what does all of the above lead to?
Get outsider to investigate this case~!!!!! without the government power, threats….!!! We are willing to chip in for the expenses
Its so SMAMEFUL … ACT!!! If this case is handle by the Malaysia Goverment..we will never know the truth… And our beloved newspaper, will publish less and less of this case…hopefully the people will forget about this case..thats their strategy.. WE,THE MALAYSIAN, JUST WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH..NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH!!
Tan might have met a ghost.
The facts are Teoh died while in MACC’s custody and in their premises. Them saying he was already released before his death was simply trying avoid responsibility. Don’t let them escape – they are the responsible party. Period.
To add to that hypothesis: I presume the MACC premise is a secured site so all entrances/exits into the premise, including windows, would have been securely locked at close of normal business hours? Could Teo have woken up and taken the desperate and hasty decision to smash the glass of a locked window to climb out off the MACC premises while there was no one around? This could perhaps explain why he may have had that gash on his palm/s (someone mentioned that on some blog I think) and those ripped (by the broken edged glass?) trousers. In any case,… Read more »
welcome to 1malaysia..where rumors and gossips eventually became reality..but of course after bittersome perusal by bloggers and couple of Royal Commissions..nothing surprised me anymore these days..
I feel very angry about Teoh death. When I heard about his death, I feel very ashame to be a Malaysian, how could this happen in Malaysia. This is the darkest day Malaysian history. This is a barbaric country there rule of law and human decency doesn’t exist. I feel I want to donate some money to his memorial. That is the least I can do. Teoh was doing social work for a cause he believe in and I sure doesn’t pay very much and now he ended up dead. Where is the justice???
How does one leave the MACC premises after one is released at 3.45am or at any time? I presume the released person has to sign-out at some sort of a reception area and also pick-up any of his/her confiscated personal items such as a mobile phones and car keys? So is there a 24-hr reception facility at MACC to enable released questionees to leave as soon as they are released or does the released person have to wait around to leave until the reception facility is open for business so that they could sign-out and collect their confiscated personal items?… Read more »
A whopping 99 per cent wants a Royal Commission of Inquiry into Teoh’s death according to the NTV7 poll.
Of course, it won’t be set up in a day. Be patient. Wait until sometime next week…for a cabinet decision.
I hope Teoh Beng Hock should HAUNT the MACC building and HAUNT the… until the TRUTH comes out of the MACC building.
Not only the head of MACC must resign. All the advisors must also resigned. All these people had lend their name and reputation to this disgraceful institution. Now their names have also gone bad.
