Najib arrives in court

Najib Razak is finally brought to court to face charges.

Long awaited by many.

Last night about 50 Umno supporters turned up for the vigil.

Today, there looks like a couple of hundred of them around court.

Najib has now been charged with three charges of criminal breach of trust and one charge under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act.

But even though these are big cases, they are probably just the tip of the iceberg. The rampant corruption and illicit outflow of funds spanning a few decades has been systemic and will take longer to wipe out.

Gag order on SRC matters only, so free for us to talk about his 1MDB scandal and billion ringgit loot.

Fair to freeze his family bank account, including that grandson since money could have been channeled there as well.

Not just freeze their bank account, but return all money to rakyat Malaysia via Tabung Harapan.

Today Penang heritage day celebration in downtown from 6pm, no word from Anil. Good opportunity for Penang Forum to set up a stall there to bring awareness to public about its noble existence to sustain green heritage of the island.
Whoever can spot Anil on the ground can post his pics here ?

Global Royalty Trading SAL, a high-class international jewellery supplier, who has an exclusive list of clientele, has claimed that Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor is its “long-standing” customer. The jewellery firm based in Beirut, Lebanon, is now suing her over a consignment of “missing” jewellery.

The Malaysian public can easily find answers to the 1MDB conundrum through two books on the 1MDB available in the bookshops:

1) ‘The Sarawak Report – the Inside Story of the 1MDB Expose’ by Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle Brown;

2) ‘Billion Dollar Whale’ by Wall Street Journal journalists Tom Wright and Bradley Hope.

Najib And Rosmah – ‘Over RM100 Billion’ Stashed In Foreign Bank Accounts http://www.sarawakreport.org/2018/06/najib-and-rosmah-over-rm100-billion-stashed-in-foreign-bank-accounts/ The decision of the Malaysian people to vote in Harapan with a reform agenda on May 9th in many ways seemed to close a chapter on past misdeeds. However, as the daily headlines show, it will be some time before the true scale of kleptocratic looting from Malaysia has been revealed. Indeed, the one billion ringgit treasure haul, garnered from the Najib residences after the election, appears to represent relative trinkets knocking around the house, compared to the real hoard, safely locked up elsewhere. Sarawak Report has… Read more »

Nazifuddin Najib arrived in Taiwan.

The son of Najib, was spotted with a Taiwanese actress in Taipei. Nazifuddin went out with Celia Chang after Najib was released on bail following his arrest on July 3 for his role in the 1MDB scandal.

Taiwan’s Apple Daily carried an exclusive report on Celia Chang (actress on Taiwan Hokkien drama, 8TV weekdays) and Mohd Nazifuddin (son of Najib, stepson of Rosmah) canoodling in Taipei’s Xinyi district.

They were seen sharing two bottles of red wine (halal or haram?) in a restaurant before making a trip to a massage parlour.

Next, they enjoyed a candlelight dinner, chilled at a pub for two hours and then took a taxi to a hotel (any hanky panky?) at 1am.

Drinking wine outside Malaysia is beyond JAKIM’s jurisdictions? Or Taiwan has halal non-alcoholic wine?

Just learn a new word ‘canoodling’.

TV3 and Utusan did have the … to report about this issue, perhaps they’re afraid that those who d*mb loyal supporters who are fundraising for that big … would know about it, but wouldn’t surprise me if these d*mb supporters would say that Nazifuddin didn’t do anything wrong, and that he just drank a glass of ribena!

The public has a right to form any opinion. This doesn’t mean it will influence the judiciary on ongoing cases. The judge who allowed this gag order should be looked into to preserve the integrity of the proceedings before him and to avoid any real danger of (political) bias. Now, when will the reopening of Altantuya murder case be resurrected? Yoursay: Gag order on Najib’s trial goes against public interest https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/432928 Bar wants judge in Najib case to recuse himself https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/432898 Another note: Sg.Buloh Prison should be expanded for possible increase in intake of charged criminals. Malaysian politics is real, really, ultra realistic lor !
This (beautiful?) morning when the Jib-khor was appealing in court, not even one from his UMNO leadership including his dear cousin was there ! Of course, not to mention his BN buddy like MCA or MIC leaders who have received cash from him(RM11 and 15 Mil ?).

Definitely agree with that. But then, it’s better to start with the clamped-down now than only keep “watching the soap opera(s)”. Exactly as what Najib quoted himself an old Chinese saying sometime ago: – 千里之行始于足下( a thousand mile journey can only started from our legs down(moving?).
