The People’s Green Coalition has told an IAEA panel it strongly opposes Lynas Corporation’s rare earth refinery in Gebeng, Pahang.

The video of the session is in three parts below. The Coalition was stopped from video recording 15 minutes into the session and the video camera was covered with a sheet of paper. From part two onwards, only an audio recording is available.

With the minimum wage policy going for implementation end of this yr (according to najib), can we hv a posting on this. The intention may be well but there is no way there will be no adverse effects – eg inflation, hiring of illegal migrant workers to replace locals

Hmmmm Honestly, I am expecting a more in depth discussion with figures and numbers rarher than just talk and making reference to previous case of Bukit Merah and other unrelevant ( Fukushima, Chernobyl etc ). We have an opportunity to really engage and seek clarification ( if any ). We need more substance angagement. Sadly, it’s not there. Malaysia Tak Boleh Laaa……

Is it because it is a BN initiative?

Umno Cyber troopers will converge there, as hinted on Page 8 of NST today.

How can a “World Bloggers and Social Media Summit 2011” be a BN initiative?

I mean, is BN becoming “World” now?

I suspect the series of Lynas plant objection are part of sabotage jobs sponsors by some political parties. They are jealous of BN FDI achievement.

We must ask first why UMNO took away Penang free port status?… You would notice Kho Shoo Kun often appeared on TVs? This is their propaganda and agenda. TV stations are all under Barisan Nasional’s proxies and cronies. The more they say, the more people know their motives and intention. They themselves could not eradicate corruption in their houses, they want to clean other’s houses? Already, 50 years Gerakan and MCA were in Penang and it was getting worse and worse especially under Mahathir’s leadership period who even could not raise Ringgit value like Singapore dollar. As long as corruption… Read more »
