When Gerakan is in power and spend more, we suffer more. When Government save more, we suffer less. Gerakan Government spend more, they have to raise more taxes. See this Jibby government spend on GRO to promote Gerakan’s image. US and Western companies charge Uncle Sam $$$ to Gerakan government. GRo is just image for for rakyat but for DUMNo.

LGE has done a commendable job providing low and low medium cost house unless some are too blind to see. There are at present 13 current projects of low and low medium housing.

On the other hand can we trust the lies of a pornstar, adulterer…

This is the true working model of Malaysia Inc. Not just hot air and slogans which means NOTHING.

Penang is currently running on HANDICAP without support from federal government, yet able to deliver sterling results. One can just imagine how much better Malaysia can become if managed under PR!

Honestly, anyone that thinks that Penang WILL EVER go back to UMNO/BN in the forseeable future is on some kind of hallucinogen..It does not even matter that PR never captures Putrajaya and Anwar retires, Penang will remain in PR hand for pretty much for decades to come. Its simply underestimating the abilities of technocrats like LGE and really just don’t get it the remarkable achievement of places like Singapore, HK, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and China.. Penangites are as proud a people as anywhere..UMNO/BN is not going to be able to tame them. The reason they stuck with Gerakan after their… Read more »

CRAP-tastic spin by pakatan !!!

You can increase $$$ by more samans and do nothing. No low housing for Penangites according to MCA President and AG report.

Surplus for what when penangites suffer in silence ??? Surplus for show ??? Surplus for drama ??? Surplus for votes ???

As penangite, do you gain something for that surplus as claimed ??? Nothing !!! Nothing !!! Nothing !!!

Pakatan, DAP and LGE only good at craptastic rhetoric and emtpy promises !!!

What has Gerakan/BN shown to Penangites with all their deficit spending? Maybe you should examine your own records before commenting on all the goods the CAT government of Pakatan in Penang has done for Penagites.

You simply can’t beat the CAT principle of governance. I rather has CAT than Gerakan/BN style of governance — corruptions and self enrichment.

Hi everyone, A record rise in SURPLUS from RM33 million in 2010 to RM138 million in 2011 is testimony of a CAT administration. This fantastic rise is despite the fact that the Pg State Govt initiated and continued with many social aid programmes for target groups like Senior Citizens, Single Parents, Golden Child, education aid to mission schools, SJK and SRK schools, agama schools, and students in various standards and forms, Higher Education Aid to students entering universities and higher institution of learning, etc, etc. Such programmes were never thought of by former BN state governments in Pg, maybe due… Read more »

This is what we want, a competent, transparent and accountable govt. It is not boasting or bodeking. Penang & S’gor has even been COMMENDED for good fiscal & financial management by the Auditor-General’s Report 2011.

What we should do now is to vote out the corruptible UMNO BN together with their sycophants from MCA, Gerakan, MIC, PPP etc etc etc.

I am glad to see that this admin has for the past four years practiced prudent spending and has increased state revenue. But what I cannot help but notice is the sharp increase in operating expenditure over the years. I understand that the state budget is divided into operating expenditure and development expenditure. What do they mean exactly? From what I see, the operating trumps the development expenditure by many folds. What exactly does it cover?

this is an achievement sending shivers down the spines of bn cronies !

if you see today’s Utusan headline spinning tales that Penang government saves up money not spending programs for Malays; again and again just to create hatred towards Pakatan’s fair and prudent policies which umno cannot janji di tepati !
