Opinion sharply split on Pg govt’s hill-slope management

It looks as if you are sharply divided on how well the present Penang administration has handled the ‘hot potato’ of property development projects on steep hill-slopes, if the opinion poll (now closed) on this blog is any indication.

It is interesting to see public opinion polarised between “very satisfied” and “very dissatisfied”.

The Penang state government should take note of the sizeable discontentment and act accordingly.

Actually the number of people who voted satisfied is larger (88 + 62) than those who were dissatisfied (89 + 50).

Analysis, anybody?

Suggestion for next poll – should the State Govt use its coffers to buy back Kg Buah Pala and compensate the developers – wouldn’t it be interesting to see how the public will vote?

The way I see it, the TBRA has 3 options :-

first, kick out the present state government for refusing to put at risk the state coffers. Issue a stop work order to the developers and the developers will sue.

second, bring back Koh Tsu Koon. After all, KTK was the assemblyman for Tanjung Bungah for umpteen years and it was under his tenure as CM that the present pathetic state of the hillside came about.

third, TBRA can put up their own candidates in the next General Election……………

THE INTERNET SURVEY IS HIGHLY INACCURATE.
ONE CAN CLICK AS MANY TIME AS POSSIBLE?

Right from the beginning of the poll, the results showed the same sharp divergence of opinions. – Anil
