Reggae Penang Love Lane is smack of colonialist narcissism of the white elitist regimes long lost in international economic prowess and social /cultural influence. Just look at the international art market and you will get what I mean. China and India are selling their art like gold of the new century going against the ingrained practice of art appreciation and collection. To Indians and other non whites, take comforts in the knowledge that we Asians are marching forward and making progress unlike this Reggae Penang Love Lane of the long lost white regimes. And to those foreign tourists coming to… Read more »
hello Anil,
what’s your take on the racist and elitest policy of the reggae mansion hotel? since ,there’s one in penang.ty
Reggae Mansion does not serve halal food so that it can freely serve beers and the famous pork chop.
The exclusion of muslims is to protect itself from potential raid by Jakim that is becoming more and more overzealous.
Simple as that. Not all hotels want to become a halal establishment as it focus on different market segment.
The locals already have many optios under cuti-cuti homestay scheme.
That does not make any sense at all. Are all indian muslim? are all indian hindu? are all arabs muslim?. THIS IS pure DISCRIMINATION and RACIST to the core .we are fight for social justice and equality . everyday, people are angry at the double standard of the current goverment towards issues of injustice .but it’s okay to be bigot and an elitest when comes to social interaction .please stop making excuses for bigot minded bussinessman/women in this country ,kannan.remember the “no indian allowed pub in perak”. “Wheel Chair is not accessible. We do not accept guests 60 years old… Read more »

PAGE’s persistence has earned them a temporary reprieve from BN for PPSMI. They must contineu to pursue the matter as Tun M has given the support for PPSMI.
Same thing cannot be said for MTUC, who can be easily taken down by BN with simple goodies. Similar to (some of) the Indian voters who go high (just because they can be called kingmakers) with BN’s sweeteners to betray the true cause of Hindraf and Makkal Sakti.

Agreed 100%. A better informed person like Anil should continue to create awareness among the Indian bros n sisters to know the majority of us need to upgrade our living standards. First & foremost not to trust MICkey at Barang Naiki who creates 99% vs 1% scenarios now !!!!
Was it the Indian caste culture or legacy that still pervades, consciously or subconsciously in the mentality of Malaysian Indians till this very minute?
If that’s the case, how ripe the minds of them for Barang Naiki Syndrome to corrupt and manipulate in the rule and divide of status conscious Indians. Time for Indians to throw away this sickness if they ever want to progress for their ancestors’ sake!
Speaking from my experiences of Indian friends, poor or middle class or going to be rich but uncouth.
barang naik divide n rule seizes on indian caste culture so indian brothers and sisters please stand up and be counted and throw away any complex feelings !
kp buah pala issue clearly showed us our bros n sisters can be emotionally influenced. so better be more informed and not be lured by any short term sweeteners prior to election.
How come protests, demos or rallies by ordinary Malaysians always attract the support of Malaysians of all races? How come the demo of protests of UMNO alway fail to garner much support? Do not talk of “bo hoot” Gerakan, or the coward MCA! These are real dangerous culprits who will do all evils behind the back, by using UMNO and the Malays? No? Despite weeks of publicity to rally ordinary Malaysians to HIMPUN, only less than 5,000 turn up and how many of the 5,000 were bused in? How many more were contract workers? Like the protest in Komtar today,… Read more »
