Activists and family members gathered outside the Kamunting Detention Centre this morning calling for the release of 45 ISA detainees, some of whom are believed to be on a hunger strike.

It is time for the detainees to be released, detention without trial abolished and the camp to be shut down. This would be in line with Najib’s call to make Malaysia the world’s best democracy! Otherwise, it is just empty talk.
