Perak Pakatan convention heralds 2-coalition era

The inaugural convention of the Pakatan Rakyat in Perak, held in Ipoh yesterday, has officially ushered in a new era of two-coalition politics.

Perhaps because of the furnace of trials and tribulations the Perak Pakatan was plunged in, its parties are said to have emerged welded together in greater solidarity. A manifesto was drawn up and debated upon.

At the national level, after what has happened in recent months, Pakatan leaders now realise the importance of formalising their alliance as an official coalition. The challenge is to then turn the coalition into a viable government-in-waiting.

Meanwhile, Zaid Ibrahim is due to speak on a “two-party system in Malaysia” at the Caring Society Complex in Penang tomorrow night.

Unity is strength!

And please keep up the pressure on the
illegitimate bunch who need
hordes of police to carry out their
“proceedings” in the Perak State Assembly.

The resolution #9, ie

9. To continue seeking for the help and blessings of Allah whether faced by a crisis or not.

——————————-
Why Allah and not Buddha or Jesus?

People, see, DAP and PKR already compromise in PAS islamic agenda. They (may) agree in hudud next.

Gerakan K Its best to call you idiot, moron or bodoh, stupid… DAP said no we do not want hudud or an islamic state. PKR never officially confirm to agree to PAS hudud law.And now again here where I will again say you are an idiot still an idiot. What did your master Najib say and your Gerakan kept quiet like a mouse. NAJIB SAID WE ARE IN UNITY TALK NOT FOR POLITICAL BUT RELIGIOUS PURPOSE. UMNO from Mahathir, Badawi and Najib and also your big mouth Lim Keng Yaik said “` Malaysia is an islamic state “`. And when… Read more »

The resolution #6, ie

6. Continue with using the 5K principles as the foundation to work and rule – justice, honesty, integrity, welfare and transparency.

———————-

Where is transparency in Kg Buah Pala demolition? What many people wanted are just the full disclosure of exco minutes during LGE and KTK time that related to Kg Buah Pala demolition.

LGE already failed in transparency in this practical issue.

So, PR supporters, please wakeup and looking into truth. That 10 resolutions just material for publicity purposes. It serves no purpose in practice.

This inaugural convention of the Pakatan Rakyat in Perak is historical, an opportunity for all three component parties – DAP, PKR and PAS to come together on common platform in solidarity. Well done to all especially Zaid for their hard work put in to make this a success and many more to come!

Yes we practise democracy, so everyone has the right to comment. Let him in, let him bark, let him make dumb comment, let him make us hate the dumbos that he’s barking for. I suggest we ignore him, no point barking back.. after a while it will wither away.

Dear people,

Please take note that Gerakan K is not Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia under Koh super bodek, but (could be an) UMNO AGENT PROVOCATEUR who is out to create trouble in anil’s blog. Lately UMNO is (engaging) a lot … to cause trouble in popular blogs so as to divert attention from all the … UMNO/BN and Najib is creating…

PR Man, Well, people like Gerakan K is like Chiang Kai Shek during chinese civil war. Chiang knew the writings on the wall. Kept on fighting till he kenna ousted. Well, such people are beyond redemption. Gerakan can’t answer simple question as in who would be in power if BN is able to take over. What’s Gerakan game plan? By the way, everybody knew what happen during the UMNO retreat. How does Gerakan gonna contain UMNO? Or yeah, technically speaking, Gerakan is as good as dead. Tee Kwong’s father predicted the demise of Gerakan ever since Lim Chong Eu brought… Read more »

Here you are, Pakatan. Penang is now a shining example of a responsible government. Perak will be with Pakatan comes next election. NIZAR is the MOON that shines among the lesser stars. He will one day lead Pakatan. He has the charisma to become a good leader. He is a PM piece. Kedah, Selangor and Kelantan will remain under Pakatan. Pakatan will see success in Terengganu and Negeri Sembilan. At least 7 to 8 states will be controlled by Pakatan comes the next GE. The wind of change can now be felt. The 30 billion investment is another spin by Gerakanist in Penang. What 30 billion investment? Please use your head Gerakan K. Even the UMNO MPs had asked your president to resign for his incompetence and for that he had lost the entire state of Penang. For 30 billion, the investor can buy up three quarter of the Penang FTZ. Nowadays, Gerakan people had nothing more to do than to do petty protests, and just look at how petty they can be in Penang. They are no good being in the opposition, though they started as an opposition way back by… Read more »

Can someone tell me what the purpose of this convention? I saw LGE from news talking about PR things. Why he does not spend more time to attract more foreign investment after turning down a foreign investment totaling RM30 billions and thousands of employment opportunities. I expect more works than politic from LGE.

Exactly what is the purpose of the Gerakan conference when there were no question or discussion at all. Should`nt KTK concentrate more in monitoring the government performance that calling for his master UMNO Najib to defend him. No wonder even his own has to rate him Zero KPi. I believe the people of Penang would give LGE at least 7KPi but even with 1 KPI at least it is very much better than KTK. And one wonder how does he rate the BN KPI when he does not have one. hahaha

This is excellent. This is ground-breaking. It is unity and solidarity where it matters most, i.e. at the ground level. It is unlike the false unity of OTK and CSL, of Najib and Khairy, of Isa Samad and MB Hasan of Negri Sembilan. Syabas Pakatan !

On the other hand, Penang with its coalition which is now UNITED more than ever is now like a fortress that BN, UMNO, MCA and Gerakan would need more anything else their Zero 1Malaysia to penetrate. Tg Tokong will be solved by LGE just as KBP.

Pakatan with its trial and tribulation will become stronger towards GE13. Look at Perak and you can see that it is now more cohesive than ever. By getting rid of … Hee, Badrul, Jeffrey & 2 Perak Adun, etc and recruiting more calibre candidates like Zaid Ibrahim who will monitor the blue print for PR, it will soon be on its way to snatch victory from from BN which are now infested with rubbish, zero KPi and corruptible people. Anil, Zaid Ibrahim forum is tomorrow night ( 2-11-2009, Monday)at the Society Caring Complex, Penang Admission is free. Please come and… Read more »
