Cops arrest 29 ahead of #TangkapNajib protest

Where o where is this country heading to under Najib’s leadership?

About 30 activists were detained near Sogo and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Razak in downtown KL this afternoon as cries of “Undur, undur; undur Najib!” and “Tangkap, tangkap; tangkap Najib!” pierced the air. They were among 200 who had gathered for a #TangkapNajib protest.

The 29, who included activists Fahmi Zainol and Hishamuddin Rais and ‘Auntie Bersih’ Annie Ooi, were taken to the police contingent headquarters in KL.

At this rate, with so many arrests and people hauled up, is there enough place in the lock-ups and prisons for all those unhappy with Najib’s leadership?

Meanwhile, Adam Adli and Syukri Razab have been remanded for six days and Mandeep Singh of Bersih for four days.

http://www.malaysia-today.net/1mdb-cleared/ “1MDB welcomes the clear statement from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, which confirms that no funds from 1MDB were transferred to the Prime Minister. We have always maintained that the company has never provided any funds to the Prime Minister as per our media statement on 3 July 2015, confident that the truth will prevail. To continue to suggest otherwise, as PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli did in his blog yesterday, is highly irresponsible and a deliberate attempt to undermine the company. This is despite 1MDB publishing on 3 June 2015 a summary of what the RM42 billion debt has been… Read more »

DAP is a threat to racial harmony http://www.malaysia-today.net/dap-is-a-threat-to-racial-harmony/ That is how Malaysia’s politik baru is to be played. It must be DAP’s way or no way. And if we disagree then we must be whacked. And since I do not agree with what they are doing that means I am a traitor. Traitor to what? Traitor to the country or traitor to DAP? No, my loyalty is to Abdul Hadi Awang and PAS. And if you regard Hadi and PAS as your enemy, which the DAP Chinese do, then I also regard you as my enemy. And in case you… Read more »

The past 2 months is really a hilarious drama by the opposition to bring down a democratic elected govt & PM with lies and deception. Before Najib does come out to reveal the source of that money 2.6 billions, Rafizi is already pre-empting another new story or to be correct lies and deception. Rafizi now realizes the allegation that RM2.6 billion is not 1MDB’s money but instead a donation so he start to spin another story. This seem to be also Mahathir realization. Many are puzzled as to why Najib did not just come out and say so earlier. Yes… Read more »

Is it not strange that Najib can hold money in trust for BN or Umno while the deputy Umno president Muhyiddin Yassin is unaware of it?

Kadir Jasin wrote this in his blog: http://kadirjasin.blogspot.com/2015/08/donations-why-does-it-take-so-long-to.html Who are these donors and why did it take such a long time for the MACC and the 1MDB Taskforce to discover that the US$700 million was from donations? With the benefit of hindsight, the donations story and the talk about the generous Arab benefactor/s could be wholly possible. It has been publicly announced that Mohd Najib’s wife, (Datin Paduka Seri) Rosmah Mansor, is very close to the wealthy Arabs, including members of royal families. The question is: If the unaccounted 1MDB money or debts did not go to the Prime Minister’s… Read more »

The USD700 million transaction into Najib’s personal account exceeded the RM50,000 threshold and would require Bank Negara to be informed. Can Zeti explain why she has been quiet on this donation?

“So I find it rather perplexing that lately the likes of Tony Pua and Lim Kit Siang have been hypocritical enough in demanding Najib reveals the sources of political funding for BN and Umno when they have maliciously rejected the political funding reform initiative in the first place.” (Star, 1.8.2015) Since the Barisan Nasional’s Director of Strategic Communication Abdul Rahman Dahlan’s challenge to Pakatan Rakyat to declare their stand on political funding, we have not had a response from any of the component parties of the opposition coalition. The Prime Minister himself has also repeated this challenge to introduce reforms… Read more »

When British PM was here for an official visit, Sarawak Report chose to pull a fast one by publishing a purported draft charge sheet against the PM Najib. It was another cheap political stunt by Clare Rewcastle, to DECEIVE ordinary Malaysians and smear the country & PM. Pro-opposition and their supporters fell into the trap by publishing her articles and making simplistic and inaccurate comments. Clare latest gambit in her incessant attacks on Malaysia proved to be a pack of lies, with the new AG & his officials within hours knocking it down, labelling it as false. They said the… Read more »

The former DPM is not known to be a bright spark.
Yet, he did asked for clarifications and demanded straight answers to be given.
If he as a DPM is blur & in the dark , this also very means that the entire cabinet of ministers are “blur sotong” as well.
Now, if his boss failed to give honest simple answers to his own not so bright deputy. Who are we kidding here?
Can expelling , banning and arresting stops all questions ?

There is one head that newly wears the deputy that dares anyone “Don’t play with me”.
Is that one bengkak head with big ugly ego?
Doesn’t he understand the meaning of serving the Rakyat (with humility of a servant)?
Where does his fat salary comes from?
Mind you, serving the Rakyat is different from riding a super bike.

The police are now very lenient in arresting. Nowadays they don’t carry a truncheon. Previously if you resist an arrest the normal procedure is to use the truncheon to control. That’s I have been trained for and should be put to good use

It was reported that the police allegedly began arresting three activists despite promising to invite them only for negotiations, and then proceeded to arrest 29 more who participated in the anti-Najib rally organised by Demi Malaysia.

Are the authorities breaking “promise after promise” and are ignoring the supremacy of the federal constitution and fundamental human rights?

The rest of the BN component parties better “ber-surai”.
Now another top Umno leader said it out loud that Umno does not need the support from the rest.
The previous message came from a former chief minister of Malacca.
The meaning is very clear .Elaboration is not required.
