Pak Samad and Marina Mahathir have both condemned the recent ‘outbreaks’ of crude forms of protest action directed at Ambiga and Bersih.
Calling a spade a spade, Pak Samad says that Ambiga is being singled out for such crude protests. See this Malaysiakini report.
Meanwhile, Marina in her Musings column for The Star says, “If we tout ourselves as a civilised moderate country, then surely there is no room for illegal food stalls, butt-shaking insults or the pelting of stones and eggs at anyone.”

Marina Mahathir represents the “ying” of his father. The “yang” of Mahathir Mohd is the direct contrast.
