The election outcome in Sarawak and three other BN ‘fixed deposit’ states will decide whether BN remains at the federal level or PR creates history.

This article is written by Faisal S Hazis:

Fresh from a hard-fought battle to wrest control of Sarawak, the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) and the opposition coalition Pakatan Rakyat (PR) have to once again slug it out in a high-stakes election, widely touted as the most competitive in Malaysian history.

As evident in the 2011 state elections, much has changed in Sarawak since the general election in 2008, when the ruling party made an almost clean sweep of the 31 parliamentary seats in the state. Back then, Sarawak and Sabah were instrumental in ensuring the BN’s continued grip of federal power by contributing almost 40 per cent of the ruling coalition’s parliamentary seats. But politics in the East Malaysian states particularly Sarawak has seen significant changes that might alter the balance of power at the federal level.

I think hardcore pakatan bloggers or supporters need to take a very cold bath and drink few cups of coffee before talking/writing about Mr Taib and Sarawak. Penan ??? Penan ??? Penan again ??? Penan is non-issue at the state level. There are lots of wishful thinking in the article but come on booksmart writer, do you ever ‘turun padang’ and sense the voters mood ??? RM 1 in Peninsula is totally different in Sarawak. Think the magic of BR1M and BR1M 2.0 if you can’t ask the real Sarawakian voters reaction. BR1M money mean a lot to them. So,… Read more »

P.s.s. Have you actually seen the video, Gherks? A performance to rival VKL and CSL. Maybe Michelle can present our own Oscar night.

It’s amazing how people love to show their prowess on candid camera.

LKS touched hearts and inspired voters to opt for change.
He should therefore go to different places to contest against corrupted politicians. Now the voters in Johor are awakened by his presence and MCA are getting restless and worried.

Unlike those who choose to stay put in safe seats like Pekan and Kubang Pasu, LKS is people’s choice.

Najib dare not drop Taib, who is a powerful warlord in Sarawak.
Because of this association …, I can never trust anything that Najib is trying to do for Malaysia.

I hope more Sarawakians listen to Radio Sarawak and not those propafanda on TV1/TV3.

If Najib’s Tranformation plan is effective, then rakyat do not have to resort to the RM500 BRIM to counter Barang Naik brought about by BN.
