Aminulrasyid Amzah’s death: Cop gets five years

The Sessions Court has found Corporal Jenain Subi guilty of causing the death of 15-year-old Aminulrasyid Amzah last year.

I can’t remember when the last time was a cop was found guilty in such a police shooting case.

But I do remember all the allegations that the police levelled against Aminulrasyid – allegations that tarnished the deceased lad’s name – in the aftermath of his death. Were these allegations ever proven?

Jenain was charged under section 304(a) (culpable homicide) of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum jail sentence of 30 years. He was sentenced to five years jail, according to lawyer N Surendrann in a tweet.

Isn’t it about time the federal government implements the recommendation of the Royal Commission: that is, an independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission?

Hey, I haven’t forgotten about the “parang”. Where is it ? Did senior police officers fabricate evidence ? If police lied about the incident they should be prosecuted. Rule of law means the police and the government are subject to law, just like anyone else.
Or is PDRM above the law ?

If pdrm is above the law, then the cop in this case will be released immediately.

Sistem kehakiman adil dan saksama? Like when hell freezes over, yeah!

Jenain will appeal and after GE13 is over, he will (probably) get off scot-free. I can read the script already, can’t you Gerakan buddy boy?

Kamu memang kuat berimaginasi !!!

Tetapi fakta terkini adalah mahkamah memutuskan dia perlu dipenjara selama 5 tahun dan bukan dilepaskan.

… the cop got 5 years. Is that sufficient in exchange for a young innocent life taken away from his widow mother?

This sentence reflected the Courts are tainted badly and (suggests they are) doing what their political masters want them to do!…to serve the ruling party blindly.

Now what about those who applied “enhanced interrogation” techniques to Teoh Beng Hock?

Lets have a clear mind on this.
There were 2 shooters . Not too fair to charge Jenain alone.
However Jenain deserves the murder charge.
Jenain sprayed 21 rounds in auto firing mode from his HK 9mm machine gun.
The other shooter must be charge for attempted murder.Do note that the forensic and ballistic people are unable to point to which weapons that killed the boy.
Is this a drama by the bn to draw votes? As Jenain cant be proven to be the real killer. jenain can appeal and be acquitted easily.

If you don’t know a thing about law/penal code, then stop shooting like a fool. Try google to find out what is regarded as *murder*.

Only 5 years?!!

A life was robbed by continuous grusome firing to make sure 15 year old Aminulrasyid Amzah laid dead? Fifteen years should be a better deterent to teach … the likes of Corporal Jenain Subi, a lesson!

The bullet that entered the body of Aminulrasyid Amzah at 45 degree from the head down already proved beyond doubt that all the allegations levelled against Aminulrasyid are not true.

Ah Soon have certainly learnt from those CSI shows.

The cops had earlier claimed that the victim had parang in the car.
Was it a ‘planted’ evidence by the polis to justify their action? …
