Combination of factors: (1) Najib has infected the Umno/BN rank-and-file with his own desperate determination to wrest power back from Anwar, LKS & TGNA (he knows it’s a matter of life & death that he remains in power); (2) The public squabbles within PAS & Pakatan Rakyat makes voters uneasy about the long-term viability of a Pakatan government; (3) Unconfirmed reports from the ground say there were hundreds, perhaps thousands, of voting age youths dressed in yellow EC uniforms who mysteriously appeared at every polling center…; (4) Umno/BN shamelessly & openly used the power of money to win votes in an area long neglected; (5) The general atmosphere in the country has becomee hazy & oppressive, and the will of the voters to banish BN once & for all has been weakened by Najib’s aggressive use of the MSM.
I was genuinely hoping that PAS would lose Manek Urai in order to bring PAS down to earth. Seems like the people might be angry with the proposed unity talk.
PAS (PR) should be proud of the result. Despite BN throwing hundreds of millions into a small manek urai constitution, BN still lose. The fence sitters no doubt welcome the development promises by BN but alas Majority of Manek Urai’s populace dont condone bribery as bribery is prohibited in Islam.
Alas,wrong prediction by PAS.Somethings going wrong in Kelantan.Maybe ,a sabotage by PAS to join UMNO.
