Barisan Nasional has taken a commanding lead in Mahkota with 20,032 votes against Perikatan Nasional’s 5,065 at 7.30pm.

Will PN at least be able to match the 7614 votes in bagged in Mahkota in the 2022 Johor state election?

What do you make of this result?

Umno can replicate this success in Kedah, Kelantan, Trengganu and Perlis?

Undi18 (many without UPSR, PMR and SPM) will still give PAS the adge.

Bangsa Johor mentality is different from northern states’. The locals are closer to Singapore and hence very sceptical about green waves.

Malaysia is racing to become a global tech hub, competing with regional rivals such as Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand in attracting investments from big tech companies. Penang wants to tap into the front end chip manufacturing supply chain, which involves wafer fabrication, advanced testing and packaging. Selangor is positioning itself as a potential powerhouse in the global integrated circuit design industry. Johor is now the largest data centre market in Malaysia, driven by a boom in investments by multinational corporations with a regional presence. The success of attracting billions of dollars in investments comes with challenges. Malaysia needs to fill… Read more »

No it will not. These people are in the same boat. In front they will put up a little drama now and then but quietly among themselves they will work it and agree to whatever the plan is unless Barisan Nasional decides to go independent come GE16.

In the aftermath of GE16 if it turns out to be like GE15, probably it will like what it is now. The alternative, vote for more qualified independents ( including members of NGOs, Civil groups, Activist ) not just any Tom, Dick and Harry.

” Stronger ringgit will benefit M40 and B40 groups ” by Shamsul Nazir dd 07 Oct 2024, 07:00 AM https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/opinion/2024/10/07/stronger-ringgit-will-benefit-m40-and-b40-groups/ ======== Yes, ideally, that is what should be happening on the ground. However, it is not. We, the Rakyat, may have to wait for a while, as one might say, before the prices of goods start to come down because the value of the Ringgit has just begun to rise. For now, we doubt that the prices of goods will decrease until it actually happens, given the prevalence of greedy business practices. By the way, what was the reason for the… Read more »

” Mahkota win doesn’t mean DAP, UMNO have buried hatchet, says analyst ”

========

Yes, we Rakyat know all about these politicians, how they like to spin positive stories about themselves, thus creating a narrative that presents a favorable view, possibly to manipulate Rakyat’s perceptions.

But as usual their actions speak otherwise.

We Rakyat have seen and heard these things time and again for the last sixty five years.
