Dalbinder,
Sorry I was a no show despite telling you I would make it yesterday. Got arm-twisted into joining some friends for ‘happy hour’ yesterday afternoon and then took a nap after dinner, By the time I woke up, it was already 10.15pm. Sorry again.

- Poll: Do you support capital punishment?
Capital punishment is irreversible. Better to have 10 criminals walk free than to have 1 innocent life lost! - Sarawak Pakatan agree straight fights for polls
Gerakan K,Little steps maybe to you but many little steps FORWARD adds up to one giant step FORWARD. On the other hand, you and your people are walking backwards.
I willingly tolerate the crap you spew for now but I’m looking forward to the day when you have to eat it all back, not to mention the crap we tolerated for these past umpteen years!
Better get a super long snorkel if you want to breathe when that time comes, and it is surely coming!
- Malaysia’s slow Internet download speed
Sometimes I don’t know if I’m more stupid or Gerakan K is when I reply to him!Never mind, I’m not egoistic and I don’t mind being called stupid so long as my message gets across to the public at large.
I’ve just visited www.unifi.my and those who are able to subscribe to such high speed access are from Bangsar, TTDI, Subang Jaya, and Shah Alam.
Not only that, the costs are as follows;
5 Mbps = RM199/month
10Mbps = RM599/month
20Mbps + RM899/monthIn unifli’s packages, none of those highlighted are for the ordinary individual consumer who are of average income.
Unless you have access to corrupt money…, how many ordinary Malaysians can afford to spend RM200/month on the internet?
Gerakan K, I’m itching for a fight! Care to oblige me?
- Penang’s latest tourist attraction!
It wouldn’t surprise me if it was done intentionally by the federal contractors to discredit the Penang state government knowing that there are brainless twits like Gerakan K who can’t tell the difference between a federal project and a state project. I’m starting to wonder about Iron as well. - Malaysia to raise “billions” of dollars from bonds
Wake up people! You may still enjoy your plate of nasi lemak, char koay teow or nasi kandar today hence you think those who bring up matters concerning the dire future of the country are trouble makers! Out to make trouble for our present rulers whilst promoting the opposition.If you think that then I’m sorry for you and have nothing further to say!
Get real and really look at the bigger picture of where the country is headed. THINK!!!
With UMNO’s current political problems, do you think that they would even consider the GST if they had no choice left to them?
Given the present uncertainty surrounding the Euro zone caused by Greece with similar corruptions like ours, why increase Malaysia’s debt further with another bond issue?
The answer is simple. The country is going BROKE and unless most Malaysians wake up to this fact, it will be more difficult for ordinary Malaysians to correct the excess of the present and past “ketuanan” governments!
Going broke is a reality and nothing we do is going to change that. But what we can do if we consider ourselves true Malaysians is to study and understand what it is that ails our country and put a stop to it – via democratic means!
Very soon, if nothing drastic happens, your nasi lemak will be with half a telur less, char koay teow with no taugeh, and nasi kandar with only 2 veg and kuah only!

Everywhere it’s the same story. People are waking up to their rights. The greedy and well-connected can no longer ride roughshod over the powerless… because the powerless have reclaimed their power and are no longer powerless! Brilliant to see so many lights in these darkest hours before the new dawn. Thanks for featuring this inspiring event, Anil!
penang police more understanding of democratic principle of right to assemble peacefully hor?
kl/pj police need saving.
guan eng,
i am disappointed that you have not done anything to assist these people. i know its the deed of the past administration to give the land away to some well-connected developers but I want to hear a commitment from you to protect these people. is that too much from a Chief Minister?
The politician who has ultimate responsibility in destroying the homes of these innocent villagers should reflect on his karma.
Iam not an Indian but I sincerly want the village presereved as a cultural heritage not for some croony project. And I also hope the authorities will bring to book those corrupted officials, whoever they may be. The Penang State Govt. must, I say must gazette this village and close the topic once and for all. It is a delight to see something in the past being presereved with the villagers without motives for monetry gains but to retain the village a
s it is. ” MALAYSIA BOLEH ” i.e. GE 13 change the Govt. at all cost so that this type of problem will no surface.
I enjoyed seeing the beautiful pictures of your candlelight vigil here. The lighted pathway reminded me of something good and it led me to light a candle here today in support of your good cause.
I am sorry for your troubles but I know that with the help of other good and brave Malaysians like P Uthayakumar and others like him on your side, including your Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng I am sure, you will win your good fight to stay in your homes in your much cherished heritage village, so keep fighting and lighting the way to your village with the soft light from those pretty, inviting candles.

“A candlelight vigil ?”, sounds like a party to me.
