Pas treasurer Hatta Ramli has stressed that his party is firmly behind Anwar’s bid for the premiership.
Speaking in front of a multi-racial crowd of about 3,000 last night near low-rise low-cost flats in Seberang Jaya, he declared that the party has never wavered from its stand all these years that it would support Anwar as prime minister. (Photo credit: hattaramli.blogspot.com)
I had never heard Hatta speaking in public until last night. I must say he came across as one of the more level-headed and sober Pas leaders, and immediately struck a rapport with the crowd.
CM Lim Guan Eng just announced a statewide speacial holiday declared for Penang on 26th August.
Fantastic news !!

Dr Hatta is an Anwar loyalist and a PKR/PAS mould like many PAS leaders such as PAS Sec. General K. Jaafar, Dr Dzulkifly Ahmad, Dr Lo’lo Ghazali, Saari Sungib. Many of them were KeADILan stalwarts.

May the best person be chosen for the best job
Regardless of sex, race, colour or creed
Afterall we all want the right person to fit the need
Let rational wise people make the choice and not just any emotional mob

Hello to one and all,
At last, we heard more senses being said by some political figures, at the moment, albeit the barrage of attacks by BN leaders on DSAI in Pulau Pinang, of who should best RUN the country.
Hope the feelings and thinking in bridging the gap among all Malaysians of all races to see a new GOVT is form is as genuine as where our hearts and mind go to rid this country of all the scumbags, corrupt and dirty politicians.
BIG WELCOME TOO TO TUNKU ABDUL AZIZ.
Wow! BIG blow to BN. He, he, he.
I just read Tunku Aziz’s article in Malaysiakini recently that criticised the opposition. And now he is already with us.
I can’t believe my eyes. I must be dreaming.
A man of his stature is hard to find. He is respected by the world community.
For him to join us in our fight against the depots is something that we all must cherish.
But hey, nothing is impossible right!
If he can see through his conscience and conscious mind what is real and knows what is REALLY happening in the country lately, there is no reason for us to doubt his sincerity in joining us to want to have a greater and more properous new Malaysia.
Welcome to the New Millenium, Tunku. ‘Never too late Sir.’
I would say, you have made the right choice by joining DAP, a PR party member. Thanks also to those ex-leaders of Gerakan who crossed over recently.
We have heard also statements made by PAS spiritual leader and its party President of their intention to stick with the PR and that DSAI is the right choice to lead Malaysia. Most recent statement was by Dr. Hatta Rambli who voiced his opinion on DSAI.
But I shudder to think what in hell are those sick-minded UMNO heads doing swearing here and there thinking that they are clean and had nothing to do with all the mishaps and bad things that are happening in our country right now.
What! you think the rakyat are stupid. Hello, wake up from your slumber!
Malaysia is being watched by the world community at the moment. Especially the By-election in PP where DSAI is contesting against the BN candidate, Arif Shah.
They all have their embassadors and counsulate-generals here. They are well informed about the lies that are being spread to bring down DSAI.
Does BN thinks they don’t have access to the internet and Malaysiakini as well?
You BN people think they watch TV1, TV2 and TV3 only? Like the ordinary people in the kampungs? Easy for you to manupilate?
The UN is which we are part of. The world community is not Blind!
Sorry, God riddance, you BN looneys!
May God Bless Us All.
Rakyat Merdeka!!!!!!

PAS supporters are doing a fantastic job here. they are championing victory for anwar and openly declaring that,’DSAI is our next PM of malaysia.’ interesting to see indians and chinese mingling with PAS groups and together shouting, ‘DSAI for PM!’. a scene of muhibbah indeed. a senior PAS leader surmised, ‘this victory is going to see anwar become the next PM.’ he spoke with confidence and gave some good reasons why he believed so. looks like PAS and DAP are all out for anwar to be the next PM. umno’s strategy backfired heavily. in the first place, saiful’s drama should not be used to campaign. most malays did not like this, as they feel the malays and the religion of islam are badly tarnished by this move. an elderly man said, ‘memalukan orang melayu dan ugama kita. taada modal lain ke?’ most don’t even believe what the mainstream media is saying. sad for BN. it’s too late though. an educated government servant commented, ‘siapalah nak caya media BN ni? asyik mengarut saja. orang malaysia bukan bodoh lagi nak disogok-sogok dengan dongeng. berilah peluang pada semua. ni tak, tak habis-habis cerita hal saiful, siapa nak dengar cerita karut dia? orang dah benci. saya pun ada anak. kenapa bikin malu orang melayu? dulu saya undi BN, kali ni saya tetap undi DSAI biarlah apa orang umno kata…’

Anwar is poised to take over the government, God willing.
Barisan Nasional too long in power feels that it is their
fundamental right to government.
The rakyat with God’s help will determine the future government of this country. I hope Raja Petra will be offerred a porfolio.
Mahathir can spend his retirement overseas.Enough is enough.
God’s justice will prevail.
