Catholic priest Fr O C Lim successfully underwent heart surgery this morning. His heart valve was also repaired.
He is now out of the operating theatre.
Prayers are still needed for the post-operative phase of his recovery.

Father OC Lim has so much character and he married us in JB in 2005 and baptised me and my 2nd girl.

What a great relief that the worst is over! It is once in a long long time that a person with such charm, wit, charisma and intelligence come our way and make an indelible impact on our lives. Fr. O.C, truly a man of God and a friend of the Oppressed is one such person.
I have great respect and admiration for his courage and unshakable stand on the controversial issues of the day especially the dreaded and immoral ISA, political persecutions , corruption etc which he never fails to highlight in his homilies, so much so that these references are incorporated into the prayer after the “Our Father” in all his Masses.
May the Good Lord grant you a speedy recovery, Fr. O.C. We will continue to pray for you and look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Good to hear that this good priest is out of immediate danger.
Looks like he will be around longer, always at God’s pleasure of course, to fight on for more good and just causes.
