By doing so, he can trigger a competition between BN and Pakatan on how to provide the best solution for Penang. Why LGE is reluctant to do so? Probably because his administration is seriously suffering from brain deficiency. If LGE really has brain, he should draft his own transport plan for Penang. So, how can K imply through his "... statement about the 14 “delighted” families came from a well known crony of the Development Above People’s government.", and hence, these 'delighted' families may actually be very unhappy and unwilling to accept the settlement? Has K interviewed these 14 families, or rather should it be 15 families? If these 15 families are so unhappy, why then do they form a new RA? Why didn't they stick with the 9 families in their former RA? So, let these 15 families speak for themselves, I believe they don't need a self-appointed spokesman in K. As for "There is nothing concrete about these promises nor the omens are promising.This is because the Koperasi is unhappy with the offer of houses to these families and intend not to honour it since neither they were never consulted nor their approval was sought.", let's wait to see whether LGE would hold to his stand that if the "Koperasi ..... intend not to honour it ... .", then there would be no approval for the development plans for KBP. So, K shouldn't prejudge the Chief Minister and say that "There is nothing concrete about these promises nor the omens are promising.", as the mass media has reported that these promised houses are to be incorporated into the housing plan and failure to do so would mean non-approval of the plan! Moreover, it was stated in the mass media that as a "Deepavali present" these families may get their 2-storey houses in 2 years' time! Furthermore with zero or very low down payment everybody seem to want to own a new car irrespective of whether they will be able to service the loan. The only solution is to limit the number of vehicle on the road which is very unlikely. As for water taxi, it is best used for tourism purpose. In the last 18 years of Gerakan KTK governance, the traffic conditions in Penang has gone from bad to worse. But these 1 1/2 years of PR governance, I see that there are some slight improvement. I am sure many agrees with me. Highway like the outer ring PORR and BORR should be implemented although there may be some disgruntled people whose land may be affected.
