Then when they walk into power in a just a MATTER of TIME, they merely need to fine tune and announce it as one of the New Government's initiatives for the poor. By and large they have been ignored, all these decades. Besides, the small token dished out by the UMNO administration (if any), the Catholic Church too assist them in any way they can. So PR, over to you! Confident that PR already has a well thought out proposal for the Orang Asli?
Then when they walk into power in a just a MATTER of TIME, they merely need to fine tune and announce it as one of the New Government’s initiatives for the poor.

They're the ones who should be given special privileges, not just per the NEP, but more of a purposeful protection of their customary land. If the Federal and State Govts provide such purposeful protection to the orang asli, they would gain even more support from the rakyat. Don't forget that in the 1999 GE, Dtk Najib won narrowly in Pekan due to support from the orang asli community there!
