His rhetoric concerning the PAS government in Kelantan will make the electorate favour PAS more to win in Manek Urai. UMNO should allow the Jeli MP to do the talking and not the Pasir Mas MP. The less the latter talk the better chance for UMNO. However, winning Manek Urai from PAS is as good as impossible in the present scenario. Pasir Mas MP is a liability to UMNO. Many will vote for PR candidate to show their displeasure. Looks like the Independent candidates are completely unacceptable by the people. Out of every 10 interviewed, 8 were for PR and 1 or 2 were non-commital. When asked about any chances of them voting for the Independents, the answer was a BIG no.
